Equipped with a large hangar, refineries, arc furnace, ore detector, jump drives,etc.
Basically all the required features as a mobile base.

**Front Hydrogen thrusters are meant to be turned on only when quicker deceleration is needed.**
Though it still needs quite some time to stop from 104m/s.

T.N.N.S.F. (Tir Na Nog Science Foundation) is a group of scientists and engineers who seek to learn the truth behind the universe. With a peaceful purpose in mind, T.N.N.S.F. always try to avoid the crowd and conflicts, gathering resources in deep space, building and learning at the same time. On their own.
Though lack of resource, T.N.N.S.F. still managed to develop their first generation of science vessel, prototype Druid, long before the jumpdrive era. With The prototype Druid, the foundation began to get more resources and even started several other ship projects.
But the glory didn't last long, a fatal rotor explosion accident shattered not only all the cargo containers but also the confidence of the foundation.
As the remain of prototype Druid drifted into the void, the foundation seemed to also vanish in the darkness.

After numerous solar cycles, ice deposit discovery, jumpdrive technology revolution, T.N.N.S.F. is already forgotten by people.

But just at the same time habitable planets are discovered, T.N.N.S.F. returns.
With a more advanced design, this ship carries on the will and function of the lost prototype.
This second iteration science ship will be known for years to come as the backbone of T.N.N.S.F. fleet── Druid.


I tried to create some artistic feelings of Protoss from StarCraft with the golden part of the ship.
It is quite heavy, but still pretty maneuverable. And it has a decent large hangar.

I've been using this ship's former design as a mobile base in a multiplayer server for quite some time,until the piston and rotor on the former design blew a hole on my ship.
Now this new one contains no piston or rotor, so it should be perfectly safe:)
