Demon Eye (Terraria) [Ragdoll]

The Demon Eyes, the giant flying eyeballs that plague skies at night.


I've been working on a lot of eyeballs recently. I decided on a whim, while I still had the technique for making Terraria eyeballs fresh in my mind, to go ahead and make these guys. They are one of the defining enemy types in Terraria, and they are usually the first flying hostiles you encounter when you start for the first time.

They are very similar to the Eye of Cthulhu, and use much of the same tech I used for the boss. Tendril bits on the backside, setup for jiggle physics, and shiny glass iris on the front.

They have facial flexes, for minor facial animation and sizing of the iris. Vertical(V) for up and down, Horizontal(H) for left and right. Scale for sizing up, Shrink for sizing down. They also have a mad and happy flex.

As seen above, they have six permutations you can spawn. Those permutations are:

-Demon Eye (Blue Iris, Red Tail)
-Cataract Eye (Fogged Iris, Red Tail)
-Dialated Eye (Large Iris, Red Tail)
-Green Eye (Blue Iris, Green Tail)
-Purple Eye (Red Iris, Purple Tail)
-Sleepy Eye (Blue Iris, Red Tail, Eyelid cap)

They have full ragdoll support, and they've been tested with Model Manipulator, using the Manhack as a test case. If you'd like to fight an eyeball, simply model swap manhack with whichever eye you wish to fight.
