Before doing anything else (if you have acess to the menu), be sure to use Infinity7's optimial BO3 settings. Great guide can be found here.

After you are done, close out of your game and do the following:

1. In your windows directory find: "\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops III Beta". This can also be easily found by:
- Right clicking the game in your library
- Clicking properties
- Clicking the Local Files tab
- Pressing "Browse Local Files" found on the bottom

2. Once you are there click on players, then click on config. Once there a word document should open up, do the following:
- Find "WorkerThreads"
- Change the value of it from 4 to 2.

3. Close the directory and all documents and open up BO3; If you continue to lag do this:
- Close BO3
- Right click on BlackOps3.exe in the directory
- Click properties
- Click compatiblity
- Check the box "Run this program in compatibility for:"
- Under the drop-down menu choose Windows 7.

4. Once again, test if you are still lagging / crashing if you are (Nvidia drivers only):
- Make sure you are on the latest version of nvidia drivers: Found here[nvidia.custhelp.com]
- After done downloading latest drivers, open the Nvidia control panel which can be found by right clicking your desktop.
- Under "Manage 3D settings find "Power Managment Mode" and change it to "Prefer Maximum Performance"
