Step #2: If using an ethernet cable, be sure to disconect it and use WIFI instead. (If you do not have a wireless adapter, sticking a flash drive into a USB port will give you wireless connection)

Step #3: Once you confirm your PC is at it's best, blow on your router. Trust me, you can gain up to 500MB from doing so.
