Introduction
Welcome back everyone, new and old! Your main man Python is here with another Hover Guide!

Originally I wasn't planning on making another one after playing through the update, but because 1) I really wanted to make content for Hover and 2) someone might actually need help with some of the missions, I decided to make it!

With that being said, the flow of this guide is going to be very similar to the last one. I'm going to cover each mission for each character that gives you DNA-Kits, as well as some other things.

In order, it will be Additional Notes, Tips and Tricks, Otello, Greendy, Watabax, Potatox, and Veelan. For the most part, things will be explained through words with screenshots to help visualize what I'm talking about. Every mission will have a video as well. If the mission is straightforward, I'll just put up a video after explaining it. If the mission is more complex, I'll do a thorough explaining of it with screenshots, and the video will be below them.

Now, let's get ready to revolt!
Additional Notes
For this playthrough I actually used Greendy (fun story, I forgot to record with the default female gamer, and since I hated my old Greendy I made a new one and just used her). You'll see my screenshots with my defualt female gamer because I forgot to take screenshots with Greendy (I'm so forgetful :p).

Now, even though I used Greendy doesn't mean you can't do it with anyone else. I was able to do all the missions with every character, which means that you should be able to do these missions no problem. I even did it with Veelan. For reasons you'll find out about later, this is quite a feat.

You see that face? Would she lie to you? Would I lie to you?

At the end of this run I was a level 6. I feel as though you could actually beat all the missions at a lower level (5, maybe even 4 is skillful and with the right build). My stats were 3/3 Speed and 3/3 accel. Now, in the new city, investing in Jump is no longer a waste of stats. The new city is built HIGH, as opposed to the old city that was built WIDE. Having a high jump is very useful for navigating the city, but (in my opinion) it isn't a necessity. However you want to build you character is up to you, but for the sake of these missions I would still advise at least having good speed.

NOTE- as of right now, the missions can be buggy online, so for best results, tackle these missions offline until a patch is released.
Tips and Tricks
There are only a few thing that can help you out on this map.

For now at least, the spawn button (T) has been taken out. It will be added in at a later date. The giant D-Pad in the sky was also taken out, so you don't have that landmark available to you to tell where the center of the map is. However, due to how narrow the map is, you will pretty much always be able to see the middle from wherever you are standing, as long as you aren't looking at a wall.

The above is sort of the new universal center of the map. It's basically a long rectangle with a shiny blue pole at the top. Towards the bottom there is a giant platform. So, when you're near the top of the map, look out for the blue pole. When towards the bottom, look for a big platform (you'll know it when you see it. Watabax and Greendy's Mission 3 are also here).

If those missions aren't avaible for you, just look for this guy (above), or scan for him.

Another useful tip is to GRIND OFTEN. Unlike in the old map, you can grind on a lot of stuff. Like a lot. Use it to your advantage to gain speed and easy Hoverheat.

A tip is to watch out for the hologram signs you can jump through. They've been "buffed", so now to break them you need to be going fast or in Hoverheat while at a moderate speed (for best results go fast in Hoverheat). If you do neither of those things, you'll LOSE speed and you will LOSE energy.

This final tip is really important. Please take note.
DO. NOT. GET. SEEN. BY. THE. CAMERAS.

See that floating thing behind me? That's the Secubox. In the last map they were a joke, let's admit it. They didn't even spawn unless you had a gameball, and they were easy to shake. To paraphrase Markiplier, "First they were annoying, now they graduated to terrifying!". That's because they ARE terrifying.

For one, they will spawn from like 80% of the cameras if you are seen, REGARDLESS of if you have a gameball or not. Unlike the old map, now most cameras can summon a Secubox. The ones that don't summon a gate instead to prevent you from leaving. These gates disappear quickly though, so keep that in mind.

Secondly, unlike in the first map, these new Secuboxes are ruthless. They will not go calmly into the night. They will stay on you for as long as it takes to catch you. They can chase you across the entire map (you're welcome to try, or just take my word for it). The only way to make them leave is to either:

a) get caught
b) put A LOT of distance between you (which is hard unless you can jump from the top of the map to the bottom)
c) just run until they leave, which will take a while.

Now, assuming you went with option A), this is where the third change comes in. In the old map, all they would do is shock the gameball out of you hands. In this map they will cage you.

Don't struggle. You won't escape. Simply wait until you are sent to one of the phone booth looking things, which can be anywhere from right where you were caught to all the way on the other side of the map.

Oh, and if they spawn in any mission besides the Potatox missions? Good luck trying to complete the mission AND not get caught. However, it is indeed possible (as you'll see in a couple fo the videos). As long as you keep running, you should be fine. The secuboxes may start shocking you, but as long as you don't stop you shouldn't be caged.

Otello
Once again, since you encounter Otello first, we're going to cover him first!

Just like in the last update, he has 5 missions (still the most), but this time he only has 2 races, 2 Anti-Propoganda missions, and a new mission which I'll call Spy Game.

His new races are really simple. Both are short and involve using the rewind feature (which look really cool in this update).

His first race is simple. Go to the first checkpoint, jump to the second, rewind to the first checkpoint. Do that 3 times and you win.

His second race is a little more complicated, but nothing to worry about. As before, run to the first checkpoint, jump down to the second, rewind back to the top. From here, go the other way, hit the checkpoint, jump down to the next one, and rewind back to the top. Do this twice and you're done with the second mission.

To save space I put both of these races together in one video.

His next mission is the Anti-Propoganda mission. Like last time, all you need to do is spraypaint all the targets. They're all pretty close to each other, and you have plenty of time, so don't worry about finding a route. As long as you just run towards targets, you should be fine. Remember that there is a cooldown on spraypainting.

Hs second AP mission is a LOT easier than it was on the last map. The number of targets was reduced by half (going from 30 to 16), and the targets are a lot closer together. Because of this, you do have less time though. Again, there really isn't a particular order you need to go in.

Again, for space I put both of these missions together in one video.

Congratulations, you now have Otello's DNA! He gets a buff to all stats, but Hoverheat offers little to no bonuses.

His last mission (and the new one), Spy Game, is pretty neat. It's like the AP missions, except this time you are just spraypainting certain buildings to distract the police while Otello's spies do... spy stuff.

Unlike the other missions, if you don't know what you're doing you can mess up, so I'll go more in-depth here. The route you want to take is pretty much a counter-clockwise path, and then going the other way towards the end.

There are 5 points you need to spray for this mission. Luckily they are all at the top of the map, but they all are pretty far from each other. This means you'll have to scan for the targets, as you won't see a marker for them unless you do that or are close to one.

The first point is right behind Otello when the mission starts.

After you hit that point, turn around to your left. You'll should see this. See the orange line on the side? Jump onto it's lower part then run up the building. That's the easiest way to get up there.

On your way there, please, PLEASE don't get seen by any cameras. The secubox will most likely get you while you are climbing up to the next point. Don't be like me. I got caught while taking the screenshot for the next point (which is conveniently in the picture).

Once you hit that point, look down. Remember the universal center? You need to grind on that wire to hit the next point.

Once you hit it, keep on the same wire. Once you jump off, you have two options: Right or Left. Neither one is wrong, but the one to the left is closer to you, so I suggest you hit it first.

With the building on the left, again notice the oranage strip. Makes it a lot easier to get up to the point.

Once that's done, beeline directly to the last point. Depending on your stats and how efficient you are, you may have a little time to spare, or you may be cutting it close. Regardless, make sure you are going as fast as you can. On the way, try to get some Hoverheat going to. You'll need it.

Once you're at the base of the bulding, you'll need to walljump between to walls to get higher. Conveniently, these walls are orange.

Once you do that, prepare to do it AGAIN. Hoverheat will be crucial here. If you don't have it, you won't have enough energy to get up there (even if you have 3/3 Energy).

Once up there, go a little to your right, and there's the last point.

Here's a video of the route.
Greendy
Up next is Greendy, the sassy speed demon!

Just like on the last update, Greendy has 3 missions comprising of races. And, just like last time, each race grows longer in terms of how long the lap is, and how many laps there are.

Her first race is pretty straightforward. Jump down into the tunnel, follow the path, climb back up on the ladder, then finish the race. All of the checkpoints are clearly marked and close to each other, and Greendy is really slow, so you should finish this mission easy.

HOWEVER, in the tunnel, look out for all the pipes. Don't be me and not pay attention, and then smack right into one while grinding. It makes you look dumb (which goes back to always paying attention).

Here is the route.

Her second race is a two-lapper, so keep that in mind. There really aren't any major points you need to watch out for. One of the points is going to be on a raised bridge, so make you jump to it, instead of just falling to the bottom.

Besides that, look out for this bridge right in front of the finish line. It has a hole that you CAN fall into, so be careful. As a precaution, I just jump over it entirely.

Here is the route.

Greendy's last mission really amps up the difficulty. You will need to be very, VERY careful with your jumps and positioning. So, with that I recommend that you slow down.

Yes. To win this race you need to slow down.

If you go too fast you will either overshoot the checkpoint or go flying off the very narrow path you are provided. Granted, you can use rewind, but Greendy is really fast in this race, so rewinding can cost you. Be careful with your jumps, and take the corners slowly. These will save you time in the long run.

That being said, let's jump into the specifics. After you jump to the first checkpoint, you turn left. Be careful here. You can either take the quicker and more risky path of the narrow walkways, or take the slower but safer path that is the shanty houses below. If you take the houses, you do have to jump back up, so keep that in mind. Also keep in mind that at this checkpoint, there is a little white house. You can' run between it and the wall. You HAVE to jump on top of it. Keep that in mind as well.

After that, keep straight. You'll see the top set of walkways, and the bottom one. You'll need to go to the bottom one.

Once on the bottom path, hang a left. You'll see the platform where you started the race. Jump the gap to the platform, then jump on the big grey bar and keep straight.

Once you get to the corner, hang left again. You'll a big gap with houses below and to the right. You can either take the house path, or take the jump path. I prefer the jump path since it's quicker, but it's up to you.

Turn left, then again. You'll see a bridge of houses where the next checkpoint will be. Jump to it, then go straight to the finish. Repeat until done.

Here is the route.

And with that, Greendy hands over her DNA! She gains a speed buff, but her strength is nerfed.
Watabax Part 1: Missions 1 and 2
Next up is everyone's favorite furball, Watabax!

Just like last time, he has 3 missions that comprise of delivering gameballs. However, he returns with a 4th mission that I'll call Retrieval.

His first Delivery mission is pretty easy. Grab the gameball, climb up the houses to your right, and drop off the ball.

His next Delivery mission starts right next to the first (like literally, it is less than 10 feet away). This time, you'll need to go from the bottom of the map to the top. After grabbing the gameball, go up the same set of houses. After that, turn to your left and jump on the grey beam.

From here, you have two options: Top and Bottom. For this particular mission the Bottom route is a lot easier, but you'll need the Top option for the next mission. Either one is okay.

For the Top option, you'll need to reach the vent below. How you do it is up to you, but the easiest way is to, once on the beam, stay straight until you reach the platform that Greendy was on for her 3rd mission. Then, turn right, and you'll see a bridge of houses that leads to the vent.

Once there, you have two options. The Skillful option is where you use the vent to propel you up the side of the wall. If done correctly, you will wallrun after getting launched, and you'll run right up to the top of the building. The Easy route is just to use the vent to reach the grey platform above it.

Once there, go straight and jump on the little can-looking thing. From there, jump on top of the building. Or, if you jump is high enough, just jump from the the platform to the top.

After that, you again have two options; to go around this big orange thing, to the other ledge, or go on top of it.

If you choose to jump on top of it, turn towards the drop-off. You're not going to make this jump, so don't expect to. However, you CAN throw the gameball to the other side (after jumping of course), which will make the next part easier. If you Strength is high enough and you're a sharpshooter, you can possibly even throw the ball into the drop-off. Regardless, jump, throw the ball to the other side, then rewind back to the pillar. From there, jump down to the ledge facing the elevators.

Jump on the one on the left, which goes up. BE WARNED, your jump will be nerfed with the gameball. Wait for the elevator to go down, then jump on it as it's rising. If you opted to throw your gameball, just jump to the elevator. You can possibly even make the jump too. Your call.

From there, hop up the ledge and go to the drop-off.

For the Bottom option, once you jump on the grey beam, look to your right. See those houses? Run across ALL OF THEM. Stay straight until you reach the very last house. From here, jump on the elevator, ride it up to where you will jump on another elevator, then precede to the drop-off.

Don't worry if you fall down during this one. You get an absurd amount of time, so use however much you need.

Here is the video for these missions.

Watabax Part 2: Mission 3
Due to section limitations, I'll have to split up Watabax into multiple sections.

The last delivery mission is a lot harder than it was from the previous map. I've taken to calling it the new Potatox Mission 3, in that it took me forever to beat, but once I did, became super easy.

This mission ups the ante from the last two missions. You are now tasked with delivering 5 gameballs to 5 points. There is no right order to this mission, but the route I made seems to be the easiest and leave the most time.

Remember that platform in the middle of the city? This is where the missoin is, and in the direct middle the gameball will spawn each time you drop one off. At the start of the mission it is behind you.

The first point we are going to go to is the drop-off point from the previous mission. So after grabbing the gameball, turn around and go past Watabax. You should know how to get there, so do the exact same thing. When you turn around after grabbing the gameball, it will be to the right.

After that, go get another gameball. This time, turn around again, but instead of going right, go left. You'll be tasked with traversing a bridge of houses that leads to the next drop-off. Simply jump from roof to roof until you get there. You can rewind from here all the way back to the gameball!

Once you grab the gameball again, look for the blue guy.

Walk up to him, jump on top of the rail, then fall down. The next point is right behind him, but really far down. If positioned properly, you can actually drop the gameball mid flight into the bin, or just fall all the way down and let it bounce into the bin. Since it's a far fall, you're going to drop the ball, so try to make it to where it falls into the drop-off point itself. After that, rewind back up to the platform.

Get the gameball, and face the big grey bar. You now have 2 options: left or right. I prefer to go the left first since it's easier to get back up, but it's your call.

Going left, jump up on the grey bar, shimmy to the thin walkway below, then jump to the platform with the green outline.

From there, it's a straight shot to the drop-off point (which was from the first mission). Like with the 3rd drop-off, if positiioned correctly you can throw the ball inside from mid-air, or just jump into the bin. As long as you fall on the houses, you won't drop the ball upon landing.

BE WARNED, if you miss the jump, you WILL drop the ball, and it will be harder to get up. Once you drop off the ball, rewind to the platform with the green outline, then go get the last gameball.

Once you grab the gameball, jump on the grey bar again, this time on the other side. From here, jump to the narrow walkway. BE WARNED, there is a sign that can mess up your jump (this happens in the video). You can still recover, but you'll be lower than we want. If you're playing as Veelan, quit the mission unless you have a ton of time left.

From there, head right, then turn left at the corner. Jump down to the grey bar, then super jump to the platform with the orange outline (It's a straight shot).

Once on that platform, turn right and jump on top of the platform with the orange lights.

Turn left, and the drop-off point is across the gap. A regular jump should do the trick, even though if you think you can throw it you can do that too.

Here is the route.

Congratulations, you now have Watabax's DNA! He gains an added buff in Hoverheat (so think like 1.5x or 2x the default Hoverheat buff), but all of his base stats are reduced.
Watabax Part 3: Mission 4
Now that we got Mission 3 out of the way, it's on to the Retrieval mission. Watabax tells you there is a package he needs you to get (because he's afraid of failing and getting yelled at, bless his heart). The USBox (shaped like a USB) is a little ways away, but it's a straight path to get to it. You have two options: the risky route and the safe route.

The risky route has you navigating this hallway that happens to have 4 cameras. It's fast, but the risk of getting caught is high. Having a Secubox on your tail during this mission is NOT fun. After you get out of the tunnel, the rest of the cameras are a little bit easier to avoid, but it's not that easy.

The safe route has you take this vent (which is in front of the risky option route) up to the top. From there, climb on top of the nearest buidling (while avoiding the camera), and simply jump from roof to roof until you get to the USBox. It takes a little longer, but it's a lot safer.

Regardless, once you get the USBox, turn around and look for the drop-off point, which is conveniently on the exact other side of the map.

Rememeber the universal center? Take the railing nearest you to cross the huge gap. While it won't take you that much closer the drop-off point, it will put you on the same side of the city as the drop-off point, you stay on high ground, and once yo get off it's a straight shot to the drop-off.

Once you get off, run straight for a little bit, until you reach this short building. Jump on top of it.

From there, shoot straight while staying on the roofs. BE WARNED, there is a camera up there, and if you happen to jump in front of it, it WILL detect you, and it WILL spawn a Secubox.

Anyways, once you reach the end of the rooftops, simply jump to the raised street where the drop-off point and toss it in.

Here's the route, with guest character Default Female!
Potatox
Next off is Potatox, whose cute demeanor hides the fact that HE SENDS YOU TO YOUR POSSIBLE IMPRISONMENT.

Uh, I mean a cutie who is really short and adorable.

The Secubox missions have been tweaked from the last map, and it's a welcome improvement. For one, there are more traps, and they are more easily accessable. Also, more cameras spawn Secuboxes, which is good (only for this mission though). Also, since you no longer need a gameball to trigger them, navigating is a lot easier, and you have one less thing to worry about. BE WARNED, that sometimes cameras won't notice you, even if you are right in front of them. Also, there is a small cooldown time for Secubox spawns.

New to this version of the mission are these little dohickies here. Even though you can see the locations of traps on your hud, you can now tell how close you are to one if you can see these.

Potatox's first mission is simple. Go to one of the nearby cameras, grab a Secubox, then go back to the start.

His second mission has you trap 3 Secuboxes. First, head left, where a camera will meet you outside of the tunnel you are in. Jump right below it to set off the first trap.

Rewind back to the tunnel, and and keep straight to the next trap (nab a secubox on the way).

Once that's down, go back the way you came, but keep straight until you hit the last trap.

Video for the first 2 missions.

Potatox's 3rd mission has you trap 6 Secuboxes. For the first one, simply get noticed by the camera right in front of you, and go to the point right behind it (which happened to be the last point from the 2nd mission.

Once that's done, turn around, where two cameras await you. You want to get detected by the bottom camera, as that is the one that spawns the secubox.

Get the secubox on your tail, then head right. Jump down into the tunnel to set off the next trap.

Set off the trap, then head back to the same camera. Jump over that camera and run into the tunnel to your left (where you started mission 2).

You may notice that there is a camera right on top of that trap. You may be asking yourself why you just can't spawn a secubox over the trap. The reason you can't do that is because it won't count. For some reason (for me, on multiple tests), spawning a secubox over a trap doesn't add it your total, and you also lose access to that trap. This is most likely a bug, but just to be on the safe side, avoid that camera until AFTER you set off that trap.

Once you set that trap off, keep straight, then jump to the left to land on a nearby rooftop (the only one in fact), where the next trap will be.

Rewind back to where you where, and keep straight again. Once you near the end of the sidewalk, jump down and fall for a bit until you land on top of the next trap. A good way to make sure you get that is too look out fort this bridge. Jump on it, and the trap is straight ahead.

Rewind back up and keep straight. You'll need to fall to another trap, but this one isn't so far down. Once you past this camera and the two raised platforms behind it, fall to your left, but start repositioning yourself to the right.

You'll want to fall into this crevice, where the final trap is.

Another option for the final trap is, after rewinding from the 5th trap, keep straight. There is a bridge that's a small jump away from the roof you are on. It's easier to reach but will take longer to get to.

Here is the rundown of the mission.

And with that you now have the E-Cop! His strength stat is buffed, but his acceleration is decreased.
Veelan
Oh man, this is it! A new challenger enters the arena! Last but not least is newcomer Veelan, the only person who is sassier (and faster) than Greendy!

She has 3 missions all composing of a new type called Chase. It's exactly as it sounds: you have to chase a target down and essentially "tag" them to complete the mission.

The first mission has you tag Veelan herself. This is incredibly easy to do. At the start of the mission, she'll stand on the left, so you need to stand on the right. Once the mission starts, she'll start to veer to the right. SImply veer to the left and meet her in the middle.

The second mission has you chase down and E-Cop. This time you'll start further away, but you'll start in Hoverheat so it's easy to catch him. Early in the mission, he'll start to climb a short buidling. With Hoverheat on, you can actually reach the top of the building in one jump. So, while he's trying to climb to the top, simply jump up the side and you'll tag him.

The last mission has you chasing down a rogue gamer. You'll be pretty far behind him at the start of the mission, but again, you have Hoverheat on at the start as well, so you'll catch up to him quickly. For this one, simply stay straight. The gamer will jump down to a walkway below. Follow him, but stay above him using the canopies. He'll reach a gap that he'll need to jump over. Simply fall from the last canopy to meet him mid-jump.

All of these missions can be beaten so quickly I just left them all in one unedited video.

Congratulations, you now have Veelan's DNA! She gains a boost to speed (she is now the fastest character at base stats), but her jump is nerfed. This means that you can barely control her in-air direction, so jumps have to be precise. For that, I recommend (right now at least) that only more advanced players should use her. Her nerf makes A LOT of the missions harder.
Conclusion
Ah, another guide is now behind us. Making this guide was fun and I hope it helped you out! If there's anything you feel should be added or clarified, leave a comment!

Shoutouts to everyone I've met so far in-game. The community is great and I hope it grows more. I really enjoy playing with you all (especially seeing a lot of the really cool color schemes.)

Special shoutout to Jenzee (or Tearexx) for helping me fix my gameplay issues Day 1. Without your help I wouldn't be able to play, and this guide wouldn't be able to exist.

Another special shoutout to Theihe for proofreading the guide. You caught a lot of stuff that I missed, and now the guide looks and reads better than it did before.

And finally, shoutout to Fusty Game. I trusted in the Fust, this update was awesome, and I've enjoyed it a ton. Alpha 3.0 is truly amazing.

And with that, I leave you all. Revolt on friends.

Once you score one point, it's advised to just grind along the circular rail on the tower. Either that, or stand on one of the moving platforms. The AIs have a hard time dealing with both of those entities.

how do you complete the final mission of the game? it seems impossible and highly against the player....almost impossible unless you just run the timer out infinitely grinding after getting a single point and thats IF youre lucky to get the first point.....

Yo pyth hit me up and lets compile the missions again (:

As a new update is out, along with new missions, I might make a new guide. Stay tuned(?)

E-cop is also in the prison, a shout out to Chocolate Man for helping me out, if you see him say Ginkka said hi:steamhappy:, instead of taking the first bottom vent, take the top one, climb down and enter the bottom vent, take a left, grind and then jump, between some boxes there will be a vent taking you to the other side of the room, go trough the door, pass trough the cameras untill you reach a room with a deactivated E-cop, scan him and you get his suit (AKA: Dna kit)
ZERO NEUROSE 2016 年 2 月 25 日 下午 1:18
You should really update this list, but for now i´ll just comment the new locations for ottelo and E-cop in case someone needs help (thank god there are no more potatox missions, i never played them but everyone says they suck) You now get ottelo from the basic prison mission, go to room one, start the mission, go to the top vent, then wallrun to the bottom vent, grind in room 2 untill the next vent, you should be on room 4, in the next vent you reach room 5, go all the way down (carefull, there are lasers and the ground in the center has sound detection) there will be a vent in the bottom, climb up, and reach room 6, scan the computer and otello gives you the dna kit.
ZERO NEUROSE 2016 年 2 月 24 日 下午 5:22
But how can i get to room five? the guide dosent explain very clearly how to get there?
ZERO NEUROSE 2016 年 2 月 24 日 下午 4:45
thanks!
