[Scenario] Silent Drifting

Beskrivning
See top right (stats) for the link to the change notes (changelog).

Your ship has been ripped apart in a large explosion, destroying most of your components and thrusters. Use your epic engineering knowledge to fix the ship and leave the sector.

This is incredibly difficult, and even though I created it, it had me so damn frustrated I almost gave up and went back to pirating cargo ships. Be warned: it is the hardest thing I've done in SE. Incomparable to pretty much anything in the vanilla game. It is one of the few times engineering is actually a focus, and necessity.

Some hints:
・Don't let the main flight seat get destroyed.
・Use the flight seat to turn on the reactors and start the gravity generators before you float off
・You don't have a jetpack, and can't use third-person.
・Dropping anything on the floor will kill you unless you have the thrusters on, since it will act like artificial mass for the gravity generator.
・Although you can leave the sector without the other parts of the ship, it kinda defeats the purpose of the mission. If there was a way to make sure certain blocks needed to leave the sector, I would have used it on the oxygen storage and main flight seat.
・It's best to move blocks instead of trying to make them from other components. e.g. thrusters.
・Don't try to merge anything until you have thrusters in all directions. While it's technically possible (I guess) it's a bloody suicide move.

Guide:
Get tools from jumping to the assembler
Make thrusters for all directions from the extra side thrusters
Use merge blocks to merge the bridge with the middle fragment, giving a gyroscope
Use merge blocks to merge the fragment and bridge to the assembler platform
The oxygen storage is now online, and you can leave with your ship in working order

ok , too short but a good idée , this map is cool to play , good job

Yep this was made back when there were practically no scripting tools, so it's literally just leaving the sector and you win. The idea is finding a way to get the ship running, fighting against physics and a lack of materials.

too easy , i go to the sector B , and i fond nothing , is it normal ?

Excellent scenario, lots of fun only took me 3 tries. I would of liked to see a proper ending though, maybe a ship meetup, or some message from a nerby outpost that detecting my ship is on the move. i also would of liked more difficulty, i barely needed to do any work, maybe if the resources where limited to exactly enough to build 2 merge blcoks and no extra. this scenario is very legit though. mine starts in Creative instead of Survival btw, kinda anyoing

Great scenario! Thank you for producing it and making me think through the solution.

SPOILER
I ended up taking everything offline ASAP and then worked to scrap half the ship (only bringing the reactor online when I needed to charge up). In the end I was able re-build a much smaller; space worthy vessel out of the wreck and still have enough Uranium to make it to the rendezvous point. It was a lot of fun. Keep up the good work!

Magnetic boots are a godsend, finished without gravity. Still, had to use the jetpack a couple times (for realism's sake, SE doesn't quite work with zero G navigation otherwise. Pretend I was grabbing onto stuff). I'll try again without it next time.
Cheers, that was actually fun.

I made the ship airworthy and I thought 'Let's fly a last time to the other wreckage and get some steel plates' and then I was slain by a steel tube :D. I really enjoyed your scenario and I will try it again.

At the end i drifted on the right direction, my uranium was gone but i finished it. It was fun. Thx
