this is an update over the original mod from

i really like to know the ship class instantly from the name, instead of having to memorize them, especially the big 1.

changes i made over his work:
ship classification references:

- Fulmekron -> M2
- there is no TM in this game, as it should carry fighters
- all XL class trade ship -> TS+, the rest -> TS
- Sul -> M7C, in this game, they carry drones
- Balor -> M7M, it's missles armament is undeniable. in this game it doesn't flight like a missle frigate, it's due to the combat ai
- not touching m3-5, remained as from original ver

I dont like TXL, due to the fact, that these ships dont carry stations. Maybe you should rename it to XTS/TXS or something? However, nice mod and thank you for your work!

but TL in this game context, is L type, which has it's own section

If I remembering right, the TXL was classified as TL with an suffix SF for superfrighter.
An Aran and a Fulmekron wasn't in the same class, cause there was an extra class for carriers like the Arawn and since there is a carriermod online at the XR-Forum and Steam this class makes sense again ;)
