This mod adds a brand new faction to the game. It is a faction of fiery spaceships with several fire-based weapons.

Lore:
Ignited by a war between two ancient factions long since forgotten, the Firenox are a race risen from ashes. Their phoenix-like power shows no mercy to whoever crosses their path.

Features:
  • Adds 55 ships and stations for your world.
  • Adds a few new map regions of variety including this new faction.
  • Custom weapons and blocks.
  • Play as them!

I played this faction and right away realized it was a Terran rehash and was kind of annoyed. Then I realized the regions.lua is set up REALLY well. I think I'll be using this as one of the standard factions from now on (so I can play against decent Terran ships every campaign).
