First, of course, you will need a cardboard box to hide in. Such a box can be acquired from the Mann Co. Store, gifted, or traded for after the 10th of July.

Second, you just equip your box. You can't use it if you haven't equipped it. Dumbass.

Third, you must pray to the mighty Danbo-Sama, Great God of Boxes so that you will be worthy of wearing the Box.

Now that you are fully prepared, it is time to infiltrate the enemy base.

There are two main methods of infiltration:

1. The "Bam! Now there's a box here!" method. Simply make your way to the enemy base while cloaked, make sure no one is looking at you, uncloak, and immediately put on your box. It is essential that you get the timing right on activating your boxy disguise: Not too early, or you will still be cloaked and have to try again, wasting valuable time and risking exposure, and not too late, or you may also be caught standing around like an idiot.

2. The "Full-On Box" method. This is the more hardcore of the two methods, and more difficult to pull of. You must put on your box as soon as you spawn, and then sneak past enemy lines from there. Movement will be covered in the next section.

It is essential that in your boxy endeavors that you are not caught with legs coming out of you. This will cause the enemy to become hostile and attack you, an innocent box. Thus you must only move when no one is looking.

Check corners before moving around them to ensure you don't get caught, and stay close to the walls. If you see an enemy, stop and drop. Remember: a box with no legs is a safe box.

Now it's time to settle down and completely accept that you are, in fact, a box. Boxes find a spot, and stay there. Sure, they might change spots occasionally, but for the most part you don't see boxes running around like decapitated chickens, do you?

Try to find a wall or a corner to be a box in. Boxes don't hang out in the middle of the floor. Boxes also like to hang out with their box friends. Try to find terrain to blend in with, like the boxes on koth_king or some crates. Ideally, your spot is out of the way and does not draw attention, allowing oblivious players to walk right past.

Now, the exceptionally daring box can go even further. Sometimes good spots can be found in the capture zones of points. Perfect! Now watch the F2P noobs act all confused. Aww.

Even more risky is attempting to take the intel! As A box! Sounds crazy right? But it can be done. If you're a pro like me, that is.
