The readme.txt will help lead you to the blank conclusion. Searching for blank will give you all of the videos but you will only be able to access five videos at the start of the game.

When you pull up your first batch of slides, give each a unique label. I chose to label all five of my slides with the same name (BLANK1) in order to pull the videos in batches. Another system could be to label each in ascending order (1, 2, 3) individually. Any system or combination of systems that you can use to navigate through the videos with ease will suffice.

Steps
1. Search BLANK.
2. Create an incrementally increasing pattern (BLANK1, 1)
3. Search BLANK
4. Change the label to fit the pattern started on 2 (BLANK2, 2).
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 till completion.

Vox has a great guide for getting 100% achievement that I would encourage you to check out if you have the time.

For anyone who else who used a similar system to solve the game, I would love to hear if it changed how you experienced Her Story. I have mixed feelings of using this method and would enjoy hearing someone else's take.

I realiced I could use the blank method very early in the game. I don't know how the devs overlooked such a great and obvious exploit. Maybe it was on pourpouse? Anyway, I watched through 50% of the database without using BLANK, and once I gote there, since I already knew the story, I used the exploit to find the rest.

I used it to fill the blanks... Because the lie detector were impossible to find, before I use searching for usual words when no clues

I labeled the videos by their line number in the database checker. Then I labeled videos in groups. 1-5, 6-10, 11-15 based on their absolute position in the database checker. That will return the specific group of five videos when searched.
