Unique Trait: Indelningsverket
During peace, Food from worked Tile Improvements is stored for Land and Naval Combat Units for up to 33% of their Production cost. Newly trained Combat Units begin with +20% more Movement for each war you are involved in (max: 100%).

Unique Unit: Carolean
Caroleans are the Rifleman replacement for Sweden under Charles XII. So long as a Carolean has expended all its Movement at the end of a turn, it will heal 20 damage at the beginning of the next. If beginning its turn in the borders of a Civilization you are at war with, it will heal an additional 10 damage as well. Deploy your Caroleans on long marches into enemy territory.

Unique Building: Royal War Academy
This unique Military Academy replacement may only be constructed by Sweden under Charlkes XII. It is available slightly earlier than the Military Academy, at Metallurgy rather than Military Science, and enables Combat Units to pass through the city at no Movement cost. Royal War Academies constructed outside the Capital provide bonus XP based on half the difference between the XP the city provides and the XP the Capital provides. Because the Royal War Academy does not require an Armory to be constructed, cities with a Royal War Academy therefore can provide half the XP bonuses of Barracks and other XP Buildings so long as the Capital has constructed them. This only applies to units produced by the city, however, and not those purchased with Gold or Faith, and the Capital must already have a Royal War Academy itself. The Royal War Academy also costs 1 additional Gold maintenance. Build Royal War Academies in your underdeveloped or recently captured cities to ensure your military remains optimal.

SWEDEN (GUSTAV II)

Unique Unit: Regal Ship
The Regal Ship is one of two unique units for Sweden under Gustav II. unlike the Frigate that it replaces, it has a +20% Combat Bonus when fighting in Coastal Terrain. Additionally, friendly (non-embarked) Land Units adjacent to a Regal Ship will heal 15 damage each turn at the cost of 2 Movement for the Regal Ship (this effect stacks with additional adjacent Regal Ships). Keep your Regal Ships near the coast where they can support the supply of your land armies.
