CIVILIZATION - THE TURKS (MEHMED II)

TRAIT - TRIBUTE IN BLOOD
Receive a free Infantry Unit upon capturing an enemy city for the first time. Military Land Units yield +1 Happiness when garrisoned.

UNIQUE UNIT - GREAT BOMBARD (CANNON)
Renaissance era Siege Unit. Only the Turks may train it. Has one additional range over the Cannon and a significantly larger bonus against Cities, but is inherently weaker. Unlocks earlier but is more costly to produce.

UNIQUE UNIT - JANNISSARY (MUSKETMAN)
One of the earliest gunpowder units. Only the Turks may train it. This Unit is stronger on offense and heals when it kills an enemy, unlike the Musketman that it replaces.

CIVILIZATION - THE OTTOMANS (SULEIMAN)

TRAIT - TRIBUTARY EMPIRE
Internal Trade Routes produce +33% more Food and Production. Puppets connected via Internal Trade Route yield +4 Gold and an additional +5 Faith if following a different religion than your State Religion.

UNIQUE BUILDING - HAMMAM (GARDEN)
10% of Food is carried over after a new Citizen is born. +25% Great People generation in this City. City must be built next to a River or Lake.

UNIQUE UNIT - SIPAHI (CAVALRY)
Mounted Unit specialized in defeating enemy Gunpowder Units. May only be built by the Ottomans. This Unit is faster and can see further than the Lancer, which it replaces.

This can be located in a folder in My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\{Mod Name}.

I just tried this civ. IN game, are they called Turks or Ottomans? I noticed in the civ list for YaEMP v25 they are listed as the Ottomans.

I cannot get this civ to show up in the list of playable countries no matter what. Enabling the mod seems to do nothing. Are there any known conflicts?

It has served me well to stay clear of Civ mods that have brief mentions of bugs in the Comments sections. They will likely break your game (learned the hard way). But it's only fair to turn it around: I've played with this mod forever and with all kinds of set-ups (Community Balance Patch, etc). Never had a problem. Recommend.
