Hello, i checked out and tested all settings. In my and your opinion these are the best settings to drive with a controller. It's not necessary to use a wheel! It feels very good with these settings. Try it out...

My online stats are the evidence for this^^. I recomment this Config for a very good Game Experience with the Xbox controllers. It should be work with any other controller like the PS4 controller. Have fun.

Also look at the comments down. It looks like many of you like these settings. Thank You for all comments!

If you have some ideads to tweak my settings to make them better, so let me know.

Its realy confusing that we need a threat like this to have fun with this game, why the developers dont implement a good setting as default?!?

Habe einiges ausprobiert und finde diese Werte am besten geeignet. Der Controller funktioniert damit so gut wie in jedem anderen Rennspiel und macht ein Lenkrad im Prinzip unnötig.

With the last Steam Updates there came a feature to enable Controller Setups in all games, especialy games with no controller support. If you enabled this option in steam you have to disable one little check box to use the old and normal Controller setup in Project Cars (This is necessary for all lot of your other games too.)

Someone who tested gamepad/controllers for Project Cars told me there are certain parameters/settings that are hidden and can't be changed for gamepad settings in this game, that were in the beta, and that there are filters added when you use gamepad with this game that mean you will never have full control or satisfactory feeling when using a gamepad with htis game sadly. I spent 3 months every day tryng to set up a gamepad to work well for Project Cars and never found one I was happy with. Don't think it's possible in my opinion after what he told me. I ave up and bought Assetto Corsa and glad I did.

Die Tage ein anderes Setting Probiert und direkt in der ersten Kart Meisterschaft gedacht, WTF nein das geht gar nicht und hat nichts mit ordentlichem Racing zutun.
Mal schauen ob mich dein Setup überzeugen wird. In ein Paar Stunden werde ich berichten :grab:

Real not bad cfg, Thanks Scott. And I edited it a bit for the new PS controller. Well, I can’t with such low sensitivity. 20, 15, 2-3, 0, 5, 10, 5, 45 (more is better), 65-80, 35 (more - handling depends on speed), Vibration is 5-10, sometimes 50, I don't like it as much as possible, I used to like it on PS1, but on this controller it is terrible, and besides, it irritates the battery in 3-4 hours. Mode 3 and other turn on.
I can say that for fast cars (Formula A), need to lower the steering sensitivity, because there is a chance to fly out, but for city cars it is quite good.
In general, the parameters set by the game work very well for Dualsens, just the steering sensitivity is very high..

Naja unnötig würde ich nicht sagen. Bei mir ist der Analog Controller das minimum und absolute Kotzgrenze. Wenn man beim Übersteuern in einen kritischen Winkel kommt hat man mit dem Controller verloren. Und selbst den besten Fahrern kann sowas mal passieren. Klar könnte man
am Controller ohne die Dämpfung niemals so ruhig in den Kuren steuern, aber wenn es mal brenzlig wird brauche ich eine direkte Steuerung und kein Rad dass erst nach gefühlt 500ms an der Stelle steht an die ich den Analogstick geschoben hab. Dann hab ich mich nämlich schon gedreht. Aber trotzdem geile Settings.

It would've helped if Project Cars explained what each setting does, like what codemasters did with their games.

*$cott* thanks for coming back to me, I have since managed to get it working and embarrassingly it was a simple reboot that did the trick. Thank you so much for this thread, without your help it was incredibly difficult to drive, your tweaks have brought the game to life. Thank you.
