No, they don't stack. Each character has it's own unique ability.
R: Time stop (meaning that they don't move, yet keep shooting)
F: Dynamite
V: Turret (on your current location)
Some things not mentioned:
- The Turret (once you have it unlocked)
You get one in survival, but not in arcade mode... and it dies out.
- Boss spawn in survival
Any kind of boss can spawn.
They don't get harder as you progress.
- Character ablilties
It's not stated that abilites stack up as you unlock new ones.
I doubt that when I unlock Liery I will keep the Magnet ability of Cloe.
- Cloe's ability
*nearly* all items will be pulled in, BUT this doesn't apply to the medic case (even if you do need it)
- Healthbar
There is no logic in the health bar. You can get touched by 4 zombies 1 game and die from 1 zombie the next game.
- Hitpoints
There is no telling in how much damage your weapon does at each level.
There is no telling in how damage a zombie can take.
Then I think midboss instant kill should be saved. Although I have characters with max level, it is a challenge to kill midboss and small monsters at the same time, which makes me really enjoy this game.
I like this game, and hope it will be much better than now.

in the next update is improved and you can easily play with keyboard and gamepad.
