dm_global is a large sized map made for Half-Life 2: Deathmatch. The map takes place at the canal section of City 17, this particular area is one where Rebels and Combine Soldiers alike had been fighting over constantly for too many years to count. The area is a special hotbed that ebbs close to Black Mesa East and to the Industrial Zone.

The map contains many provisions such as health packs and ammunition scattered around inside the several warehouses that the player can enter. Inside each warehouse is a teleporter that will take you to different parts of the map on a whim, allowing you to enter the firefight a lot quicker. A sewer system is also placed at the rear end of the map for those who like to make a surprise attack or to hide.

The map is great for Machinima's and Garry's Mod videos due to the excellent amount of detail and wide space for playing on.
