Bolt Class Fighter Mk. II

The "Bolt" Class Fighter Mk. I was designed as a hit and run type fighter, and reached top speed in around four seconds. It's armament of 8 gatling guns was enough to rip through a layer of a large ships light armour in a matter of seconds. But it had a problem- the armour was too light, and pilots were often put in danger by their ship being ripped apart by heavy cannons.

That's what the Mark II fixes- it has been given blast door equivalent armour, as well as being given two more extra powerful thrusters. It's acceleration has been cut because of this, and the Bolt is now even more fearsome than before.
