This guide will fix an issue where the game can't save it's graphic settings.

For me the the game doesn't save certain settings, like resolution, anti aliasing and more.

This happens because the game doesn't create the settings file (not the correct rights?).

To fix is to simply create a folder called "NAMCO" (without the quotation marks) inside your documents folder and inside that folder create another one named "ACAH".

When launching the game it will create a "gfx_settings.ini" file. When saving settings they will be remembered the next time you launch the game.

Hope this helps anyone else!

@MajorFailure, no problem. :) I actually had explorer crash on me 3 times while trying to create the NAMCO folder after reinstalling the game and seeing if it created the folders (had to reboot). Weird bug(s)!

@spawnagain, apologize my friend! it wasn't working for me for some reason, the folders were already there, but no ini file. i did a restart of my computer, started the game, closed it, and eureka! the file was there.

not sure why it didn't pop up the first time, but it's there now, and i'm able to adjust the settings. thanks for your quick reply!

@MajorFailure, it didn't create the NAMCO folder for me on Windows 10. But it did create the ACAH folder (i had a mistake in my guide forever. AHAC instead of ACAH, d'oh!). Have you tried creating the gfx_settings.ini file yourself?
Browse to the folder. New Item (on the start tab), text file. Name it "gfx_settings". Enable extensions on the view tab and change txt to ini. Let me know if it works! :)

Unfortunately this does not work in Windows 10. The game successfully creates the NAMCO and AHAC folders without my help, but it still cannot create the gfx_settings.ini file, causing the game to freeze when you save any of the graphics or controller settings.

Ok the game build his own folder in the NAMCO folder named ACAH and create there gfx_settings.ini file.

Problem with this, is, that the Original(Retail) w/ Windows live setup, isn't like in the [Steam Store] bought game, I personally had that kinda issue. x(
