Falkirk and Forth Valley, Scotland 18km

This is a map of Falkirk and the Forth Valley.

Motorway connections are the M9 running from Stirling to Edinburgh and the feeder from the South West is the M876.

I have placed the natural resources roughly where they should be, but have taken some liberty with the three resources available in the map editor.

The mineral deposits around Airth are representing Shale ore. Oil is to be found around Grangemouth and fertile land around the river Carron and Skinflats.

The rivers are wider than they are in real life, again this is a constraint of the map editor brush and water dynamics system.

I will leave you with this thought...

"Think cos um fae Carronshore a cannae fecht! Cannae fecht? A'll hit ye on the heid wi a cauld tattie!"

Also...locals might as for...

"An ingan anaw"

The motorway traffic for some reason does not follow the correct direction of travel. This is something to do with the editor. I definitely set the direction of travel to Left sided driving. Hopefully it doesn't detract too much from the map. <gnash!> You can see that I have drawn in the correct traffic direction in the map editor here http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=417556494 so this must be a bug. :/
