The worm

Hi everyone,

WiDOC R&D Industries are proud to launch their 4th product, The Worm, a really cool miner.
This ship is designed to mine ALONE to make big and deep hole into asteroid.

Now, let me tell you what you can do with:
- A rotative head to create bigger hole and stabilized the mining session (see screenshot).
--> The rotative head is self repairing (just in case)
- 2 rafinery system
- 2 Assembly system
- A gravitator, made with a spheric gravity generator and collector around it (middle of the ship) so that you're not loosing any ejected rocks during your minig session.
- still HIGHLY MANOEUVRABLE (and it's kinda cool).
- Automatic doors
- 2 Large cargo containers.
- A total of 4 extendable connectors to connect the ship to any station for unloading it safely.
- Coooooool lights ;) (I let you discover)

HOW TO MINE ALONE ?
1st control panel -> 1st button : Active the rotating head AND the miner
1st control panel -> 3rd button : put the light ON....just for the fun
1st control panel -> 4th button : if it isn't, Active the spheric gravity generator
1st control panel -> 6th button : up the speed (but not too much, like one or two click on it)

leave the ship :)

yeah you have some special rotors for conveyor but be carefull, it is hard to make them stable.

Love your Worm. Looking it over and trying it out (I drilled right through the base asteroid) has taught me a few things. I haven't really experimented with thrust override yet. I have wondering about how to have my miner continue drilling without having to use the keys. I found that turning off the dampeners worked to a large degree, but I still need to give the 'w' key a press now and then, so that is not a hands-free method. Your method of using the thrust override solves the problem so thank you for that.

I still haven't tried using rotors either. I didn't realise that you can connect then to a conveyer. That makes the so much better for drilling.

Finally, your worm is fantastic.
