Every game they have.. has always gone through the same process of crashing issues.
And for some reason they don't learn from it.
Infact i think SOE are purposly trolling the customers.

Either that or GFX Card drivers just don't understand wtf SOE is trying to say in their settings in the default install.

If you are Here.. it is because you are having crashing issues.
And have played some other SOE games where you crash randomly.

Anyway for LANDMARK crashing problem.
It is not your Drivers, although updating them is never a bad idea.
Although in some cases.. like in all SOE examples.. updating a driver can force SOE to need to update.. or to go crying to Nvidia majority of the time.
You will constantly see "We have spoken to Nvidia about the problem, they are aware" from a forum dev or a spokesman for SOE on whatever game they are talking about.

Anyway.. enough rambling on.. here is how to fix it.

• Go to your Steam folder with Landmark in it.
  "C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Landmark"
  
• Look for the "UserOptions.ini"
  
• Open the "UserOptions.ini" with notepad.
  
• Scroll down the page to find "MaximumFPS=" in Landmark i think it was "MaximumFPS=1000"
  
• Change the "1000" to "60" or whatever Frame Rate your monitor runs on.
  So it looks like this "MaximumFPS=60"
  
• Save and Close.
  
• And there you Go.. now you can go play the game without stupid random crashes ever again.
  Until they patch and update and those "MaximumFPS=" settings are changed and then you have to do this all over again.

And this works with all SOE games, they always do something weird in alpha and beta, and even launch games with exactly these problems.

Don't expect to get any actual information beyond this.
The Support staff for SOE are more technical and completely overlook this.

Even the SOE Landmark Bug and Technical Support forums are flooded with these issues and everyone talks about doing some stupid over the top fixes.
I even saw one guy talk about editing his BIOS to fix the problem.
If someone asks you to edit your BIOS.. to fix your problem.. ignore them and find someone else to help you, they are obviously using a computer that is overclocked and has other issues that won't help you, they are on another level of geek that you will possibly want to make you hurt puppies after spending 5minutes talking to them.

If you are able to play other games.. and this game is having "Random Crashing" issues.. it's the game.. it's not your computer.. don't let those forum geeks try to make you question reality.
Sometimes you need to update a Driver, sometimes you need to rollback a Driver.. it's not uncommon with SOE to do either regardless.

So pass it on, spread the word.
Random Crashes in SOE GAMES.. is caused by the "MAXIMUMFPS=" setting in the UserOptions.ini file.

• If you are able to play for long periods of time (over an hour), then randomly crash, then this is not a fix for you.
  
• If you are having Latency Issues, then this is not a fix for you.
  
• If you are having any other issues that doesn't pertain to "randomly crashing" within a 30minute period constantly, then this is not a fix for you.
  
• If you are still having random Crash issues after this, then there is a bigger problem, and there is nothing that can completely fix it until SOE fixes it, which won't be for a long time.

While i do like SOE, and this guide does sound harsh, i do find that SOE is probably the only company around that actually interacts with their players, and has friendly support staff that you can understand.
You wouldn't believe me if you looked at their websites forums, but they do.
