After completing Black Beard’s quest, five special chests will become available. There is one chest on each of the five islands.

To unlock each chest, 3 glyphs need to be found per island and then, the location of the chest as well. A message will appear on your screen when a Glyph is nearby as well as some music, the louder it gets, the closer you are.

You can go to the map and zoom all the way out to see the names of the islands and zooming in while hovering over a location will tell you which neighborhood that is.

Glyph and Chest 1/3: The first glyph is located right next to the chest, found in the back of Blackbeard’s pirate ship.



Glyph 2/3: From the ship, look across the street for a bright yellow symbol on some two tiered rocks, it's easily visable.



Glyph 3/3: For the third glyph, look east just across from the second glyph on similar tiered stone walls. These two glyphs should easily be visible from the pirate ship

Chest: The treasure chest is located inside the giant demon statue’s mouth.



Glyph 1/3:The first glyph is found about half-way up the main Ultor building, on an out cropping roof, against the wall and behind the giant demon statue.



Glyph 2/3: The second glyph is on one of the lower pillars of the church-like ruins within eye view from the first glyph on the Ultor building.



Glyph 3/3: The third glyph is slightly in an alleyway off from the main road just east of the Deltit Smeliting building in the Avernus neighborhood.

Chest: The chest is behind the Snowball’s Chance hotel in the Last Glance neighborhood



Glyph 1/3: Right across the Snoballs Chance hotel, Grab the glyph on the rooftop of the arena, behind the massive sign.



Glyph 2/3: Enter the covered market and look on the rooftop near the “Lust” neon sign.



Glyph 3/3: Head over to the Debtor’s Den and look on the tall pillars of the Golden Showers building’s west side.

Chest: The chest is found on Vlad’s roof in the Tenth Circle Penitentiary.



Glyph 1/3: Look on the lower rung of the shanties just off the southern border of the Sinner’s Circle.



Glyph 2/3: Enter the Impalement Gardens through the front entrance and look on the left wall of the main structure.



Glyph 3/3: Go to the Night Echoes hood, and check out the southeast corner of the area. Go down to the street tunnel underpass beneath the buildings — there’s a narrow passage leading into a room with a glyph.

Chest: The last chest is in the southwest corner of the Pride. Fly over the lava sea and enter the giant skull’s mouth.



Glyph 1/3: For the glyph, travel to DeWynter View and jump onto the skyscraper with the heliport midway up. The glyph is located on the door.



Glyph 2/3: The next glyph is in the Goldenyard. Fly over the the large building above the southernmost floating structure. On the south face there’s a huge open section with a soul cluster. Behind the soul cluster, on a wall, you’ll find a glyph.



Glyph 3/3: Underneath the bridge in the southwestern corner of Dragonbone, look on the rocky flat walls above the lava sea.
