This guide is mainly there to give hints and solutions on how to obtain all of the achievements in realMyst: Masterpiece Edition. It is not supposed to be a walkthrough, there's the in-game help for that. Some of the achievements names and descriptions may contain puzzle or story spoilers, so be warned.

Solution: After going up the small flight of stairs from the pier to the central island (where you find the note from Atrus), turn left and go into the woods. Hidden in between the trees, you should find a small headstone on the ground. Observe it for a few seconds and you should get the achievement.

Solution: After you found the Channelwood Linking Book, you can just turn around in the same room and you'll find a valve similar to the one in the cabin. Turn it a little to the right to increase pressure, hop into the treelevator (yes I just made that up) and wait until you are back on the surface.

Solution: You can do this just after the "From the basement" achievement. Instead of jumping out on the surface, wait until it reaches its highest spot. Admire the view for a few seconds and this achievement is yours. You may then press the button on the left side to get back to the ground.


Solution: You should have noticed the two circuit breakers when solving the generator/spaceship puzzle, one immediately next to the generator house and one a bit further down the line. You have to reset them both while they are blocking the circuit. If you set the generators to more than 59 volts, it will cause one of the two breakers to blow. Reset the according one (it will make a loud noise if you do) and repeat. It might take a few tries, as everytime you go over 59 volts, a random breaker will block. Once you reset both breakers this way, the achievement should unlock.

Solution: There isn't much to say about this. Just make double sure that you entered the right combination before pulling the switch and/or create a savegame beforehand.


Hint: Take a look into the Rime Journal, best after completing the game.
Solution: This achievement can be obtained by using the hologram device in the secret chamber by the docks. Set it to the topographical map of Rime (code 40) and press the buttons both on the front and the back of the device. The control panel will now open up and reveal a hidden opening behind it. Press the button inside this opening and the achievement should pop.


Solution: This is an easter egg achievement, and somewhat tricky to get. It is required that you are in free roam mode. Go on the ship by the dock. If you see the door, turn around and walk to the far right end of the ship. From there, you should be able to climb up the broken sail and then go over the rope to the crow's nest, which will unlock the achievement.

Solution: Once you get to the highest level of the Channelwood Age, visit Achenar's room. You'll find an imager there, just play the last of the four messages.


Solution: It is required that you use free roam mode for this achievement. Visit Sirrus' room on the highest level of the Channelwood Age. You'll find a big bed there with a chair next to it. You can get on top of the chair by just running against it, and from there you are able to climb on the bed.

Solution: In either of the brothers rooms, there will be thrones. Click on one of them to sit on it.


Solution: In Sirrus' room, you will find a toy bird with a crank on it. If you crank the toy for a long enough time, the spring will break, unlocking the achievement.


Solution: You will find a telescope in Sirrus' room. You have to align the fortress so the bridge faces to the west (so it just leads to nothing), and then look through the telescope to see Bob.

Solution: After you opened the hatch that leads to the top of the lighthouse, both the key and the lock will fall in the water. You now have to drain the water in the lighthouse again, and afterwards find the key and lock lying on the very bottom of it, next to the chest.
(Note: There is a known bug that won't let you complete this achievement if you leave the age after solving the lighthouse puzzle. Only known solution is to load an older save or start a new game.)


Solution: This one is a little tricky to figure out. It is required that you use free roam mode. If you visit Sirrus' room in Stoneship Age, you should find a huge bed with two potted plants next to it. Run against either of them and align the camera upwards, and you should be able to climb over the plant. Wait there for a few seconds and the achievement should unlock.

Solution: This achievement is awarded for adjusting all antennas in the Selenitic Age to their optimal position. The buttons that rotate the antennas will blink to indicate in which direction you have to rotate. After every antenna is in the correct position, press the sigma button.


Solution: This achievement is awarded for getting through the maze without pressing the "backtrack" button. If you make a mistake, you should be able to just make a 180° turn and go back. The sounds indicate the direction you have to go to, a "ping" (high-pitched sound) for N, a "dong" (low-pitched sound) for S, a kind of rattling sound for W and a steam/air sound for E. The correct sequence of directions would then be:

Solution: Achieved after finding all blue pages and giving them to Achenar.


Solution: Achieved after finding all red pages and giving them to Sirrus.


Solution: Given for linking to K'veer without the white page.


Solution: Given for linking to K'veer while carrying the white page.

Solution: There is a small hut in the middle of the island. The Myst book will be lying on the pedestal just as you enter.


Solution: After you unfreezed the door in the hut, proceed to an elevator and go up. It should bring you to a viewing platform with a console on it. Adjust the slider to your favorite color, pull the switch and enjoy the spectacle.


Solution: Ride the elevator up. There should be a button on the left side, press it and go down again. Proceed to the crystal room and read the note on the desk on the left hand side of the room. Adjust the crystals so they match the ones on the note (you can hold down your left mouse button to change the color), press the button and images of the Riven Age should show up, together with the achievement.
