The northern region of Tramos is covered by vast forests and mountain ranges, several days’ journey away before one reaches the Tramula River. The northern bank already belongs to the goblin realm of Cheluban. In the northern mountains, the presence of goblin brigands is nearly constant; they attack merchants and lone travelers alike.
Thus, it is not uncommon for certain wealthy people of Tramos to hire mercenaries as a last resort to search for their missing relatives.
This story, too, tells the tale of an ordinary band of mercenaries on a search-and-discovery adventure.
