If you've built long Hyper Tube highways, you know the pain: base speed is just too slow. The resource and power costs are high, but a simple Slide-jump is often faster than the tube itself.

To fix this, I designed an accelerator layout ("Cannon") that solves the main issue with standard boosters — they are usually one-way only.


A standard accelerator in a single-lane system is a dead end. If you come from the opposite direction, you crash into it. My blueprint solves this challenge:

• High Speed: Instant boost, making tubes more efficient than trains for medium distances.
  
• Fully Automatic: You do NOT need to press direction keys (A/D) or "E" at junctions.
  
• Bi-directional Logic:
  
  • Forward: The system pulls you into the accelerator loop.
    
  • Backward: The system automatically redirects you to a bypass route, skipping the accelerator.
    
• Compact: Easily fits into a break in an existing tube line.

The blueprint fits into a gap in your main line. Takes up minimal space.

When moving in the forward direction, inertia and the loop entrance pull you into the accelerator. You get a massive speed impulse for the rest of the trip.

The most important part. If you are flying from the opposite side, you cannot enter the accelerator (it would stop you or shoot you back). The layout is designed so that you are automatically routed along a side arc, bypassing the accelerator entirely.
