The start to recovery

-Open Steam.

-Navigate to CS2.

-Click “Uninstall.”

Take a deep breath. You’re free now.

CS2 leaves a hole. Fill it before it fills you again.

-Pick up a new hobby: gym, drawing, writing, reading, literally anything.

-Play cozy games instead. Minecraft won’t yell at you for not clutching.

-Touch grass. Meet sunlight. Connect with out lord and saver and reintroduce yourself to non-frag-based dopamine.

This game has done damage. It’s okay to admit it.

-Talk to someone about the time your teammate threw easy rounds

-Work through the betrayal of being kicked for top fragging.

-Accept your past self. Forgive them. Move on.

The urge to queue "one more time" will always linger, but know that you are not alone.

If you follow these steps, you may one day utter the words:

“Yeah, I used to play CS2... but I’m better now.”
