Rx - Automated Factory

Beskrivning
New Building: Rx Automated Factory
A fully robotic industrial facility capable of producing one resource at a time: Polymers, Machine Parts, or Electronics.
It works outside domes and provides stable automated production, balanced by high power consumption and maintenance.

The player can switch the active production line at any time.
When switching, the factory enters a reconfiguration phase lasting several in-game hours.
During this time, it produces nothing — requiring planning and smart resource management.

Features:
• Produces one resource at a time
• Switch production at any moment
• Several hours of reconfiguration (no production)
• Highly automated for mid/late game
• High power and maintenance costs

Required Tech: Automated Production System

Update: 12/1
- Fixed major issue with the production
- Fixed UI for Controller
- Note: Probably you need to rebuild/refab the existing factories in your Savegame

Thank you so much for this!

Some very minor feedback, but for balancing purposes I think they produce a bit too much of the specified resource per day, which makes Machine and Electronics Factories unnecessary. I think they're better served as an emergency/just getting started option, and to have production similar to Factories with staffed engineers, you should need to build more of them.

I'm running into the producing eletronics first bug, but there is a work around of switching production away then switching back to what is desired.

You should try to un-/re-subscribe to the mod dependency instead (Rx Research Agency).

I have the same issue as MichellekiO. Can't find the Automated Factory in the menu after purchasing from shop. Uninstalled the mod and added back and still not there. Tech never showed up either.

i don't know if i'm missing one of the RX mods to support this one, but i can't find the Automated factory in the build menu, or in the RX tech tree.

@sco74 Hey! Could you give more details about your problems, please?

I test my mod and update on with my savegame and new game, but obvisouly it's impossible to find or trigger every random issues, there are lot of paramters, mod conflicts, game rules enabled or not different paramter from sponsors, profile, cheat codes enabled or not..... So infinite possibilities to generate a new issue :steambored:

Savegames are mostly affected because, when I update a mod, the existing buildings (on the map) continue to have the old data (not all but partially) and can create some issues...

But don't hesitate to create a discussion thread to post every issue (with details how to reproduce it).

Dash...i love you stuff for SMR, but i am not sure or it works 100%...maybe a full check for you mods on your side?...The RX stuff seems to work occasionally in an existing session, but after saving and returning, things disappear or work only partially. I also often get the message that there's something wrong with those RX mods....??? Keep doing what youre doing... If you want know more about this or wanna talk about, i am willing for feedback.

When you start a new or existing game there is always an anomaly near the ship that is different from the other. And you have to scan this anomaly and then scan it and a construction will appear and you will have to repair it. And then this Construction will be destroyed. And then a new building will appear in the game menu and this building can only be built inside the colonist's dome. After this, construction can be released within this building
