Residential blocs for dual shifters (+9 moral)
由 He55e 制作
Individual Bedrooms in dead ends.

Bathroom System — One Complete Bathroom per Floor

Each floor contains one fully equipped bathroom shared by two duplicants, one from each shift.

Toilet + sink
Full plumbing
Local recycling loop : Polluted water handling (1 per residence)
Clean water Buffer reservoir (avoids crisis)
100% uptime with no interruptions

Because the two dupes work on opposite schedules, they never require the bathroom at the same time.
This allows one bathroom to reliably serve two residents with zero congestion and no stress events, even during “urgent needs.”

Vertical Great Hall — Both Shifts Eat Together
Although each pair of dupes lives on alternating shifts, they share the same mealtime in a single Great Hall made of dual Mess halls.
Enough Mess Tables for all residents
Morale bonus: +4

Perfect sync in morale cycles
Stable, unified social behavior
This design provides maximum morale consistency while keeping the tower highly compact.

Original design : residence

Individual Bedrooms in dead ends.

Because they can be upgraded over time, the design must be built with the correct dimensions from the beginning.

Dual shifts residence : Size: 27×4 = 108 tiles
Triple shifts residence : Size: 33×4 = 136 tiles
Quad shifts residence : Size: (40+1) ×4 = 164 tiles
...

Private bedroom Morale bonus: +3
Washroom Morale bonus: +2
Great Hall Morale bonus: +4

Dual bedrooms are each 4×6, in order to allow upgrading them later into a set of +3 private bedrooms.

Bathroom System — One Complete Bathroom per Floor with Air Conditioning

Vertical Great Hall — Both Shifts Eat Together

Although each pair of dupes lives on alternating shifts, they share the same mealtime in a single Great Hall made of up to 7 (dual) Mess Halls. (The limit of the great hall is 120 tiles)
I usually build the Mess Halls first, then later merge them into a Great Hall.

Enough Mess Tables for all residents
You need to assign the tables manually in order of the floor team to eat toghter in the right mess.

This design provides maximum morale consistency while keeping the tower highly compact.

I usually also build a hospital on top of the residence, since the water loop is already nearby.

The schedule is basically:
  • eat → shower → sleep or
  • sleep → shower → eat

Polluted water can either be:

1) recycled into the loop (parallel fail-safe):

and/or
2) used for wood & reeds → carpets/clothes.

One block :

Hospital :

A base with 3 blocks :

The beginning:
1) Clear some space in order to already have all the debris on the ground.
2) Build from the base external limit inwards
3) upgrade whenever you can...

The end : triple shifts block +11 :
At the end I added a new room : the "Great Hall +6 with the "communal table" making the block +11

Bonus :
+7 spaceship design :
  • packed with max pressure oxygen (in order to stay a long period into space),
  • Dehydrated food (needs power and water)
  • space-suit (for backup and planetoid exploration, to wear and refill manually)
  • carved lumen (free light).
  • Recreation room with Telescope or data collector + a phone line (+4 while in space)
  • shelves for manually storing planetoid artifacts.
