U.S. M41 Walker Bulldog by Papa_Chad

Description
This mod adds the M41 Walker Bulldog to PZ B42 with enhanced visuals and performance, bringing more realism and impact to the game.
It includes new details on the model, more immersive sounds, and improved drivability.

    Mod for B42 only.
    Compatible with existing saves.
    Compatible with KI5 vehicles and other mods.
Weapons
    Both weapons give XP when killing zombies and do not contain infinite ammunition. Loot is proportional to the game's vanilla ammunition.
  • M32 76mm Main Cannon
    That uses 76mm Round (Armor Piercing) and 76mm Round HE (High Explosive).
    Armor Piercing ammunition can penetrate walls, vehicles, and entities, losing kinetic energy, so be careful when using it.
    High Explosive ammunition detonates on first impact, creating a circle of destruction, so be careful with its use.

  • M1919A4 Coaxial Machine Gun
    That uses 7.62mm NATO Round. To shoot, press Space on the keyboard
    Ammo Storage
  • Main cannon ammunition is stored in the Ammo Storage; you can reload the cannon by dragging the ammo onto the cannon.
    Or Pressing the R key, which will play an animation with custom sounds and also grant XP in Reloading.
    Tracks
  • The tracks take damage with use and require proper equipment to repair them. The system follows the vanilla system, allowing parts to be crafted using Smithing and B42 crafting systems.
    The vehicle has its own transmission system that allows it to rotate on its own axis when stationary. To do this, simply hold the A key to rotate left and D to rotate right.
    Enhanced Aiming System
  • When aiming with the tank, a Circle will indicate the mouse position, and the Triangle will indicate where the cannon is actually pointing. The shot can be fired at any moment, but it will go where the cannon is aiming, not where the mouse cursor (circle) is, unless both are aligned.

This mod cannot be modified by anyone else, for anything else, at all, ever. Even if the user disappears, he or she would much rather you didn't touch the fruits of their hard labour.

There is no B41 tag and the description very clearly states "Mod for B42 only", so no, it doesn't work on B41

@Lazy Invincible General I believe the "Vehicle Military Zone" mod does this, and I intend to do the same in the future, but I'm not entirely familiar with that part of the game's code.

@Spino Certainly @_TheFixNine_ , these tanks would be the most likely to have been used, given the historical period and location.

Amazing mod! I agree with _TheFixNine_, would love to see the M48 and M60, especially the latter since it was used by the National Guard in the 80s & 90s.

I think the off road capability is somewhat sub-par at this moment, it should be at least 8-20 mph, not 5 - 15 mph in current state, but otherwise, I really enjoy this mod, the detail is superb, the cannon and machinegun aiming is great. thanks to you for developing a great mod out here

@MrChief I have a few other projects in progress, but the M60 is something I'd really like to do.

@B_Rycester Do you have the military tool kit installed?

@Duncan Okay. This type of modification is difficult to do; it requires a lot of calculations and tricks to make everything work reasonably well. I'm also bothered by how some things are in the mod, but that's kind of the limit I can bring. Otherwise, I'm glad you liked the mod; I can tell a hater from someone who's giving constructive criticism. If you have more suggestions, feel free to share them. I'm going to reduce the spawn rate of AP ammo.

IDK if you have thought about this but the M60 and all of its variants would be accurate for the time of the game and would be amazing for this game

Currently, version 42 can only be played in single-player mode, so I feel AP rounds are somewhat redundant. The turret rotation feels really good. However, the aiming experience is indeed not great. Thank you for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate it!
