I saw that the current guides haven't been updated for quite some time for the current version of the game. So I thought, I'd post an updated version ourselves.

in this step i will show you how you can make your own patches for BOBB.

STEP 1: search for images you want to make patches from.
STEP 2: use a photoshop program (paid or free one)
STEP 3: make a screenshot from the image and paste them into the available template while using a photoshop program.

🔴🔴🔴EASY EXAMPLE🔴🔴🔴
STEP 1: open up a internet browser and type in the image you want to make a patch of.
STEP 2: open PAINT and use one of the templates of this guide or create a own one.
STEP 3: go back to your browser and copy the image or use the cutting tool of windows.
STEP 4: go back to your opened PAINT, and paste them over the layers.
STEP 5: when the patch is finished, save your patch in the ''patch folder'' of BOBB

(ALWAYS USE PNG FORMAT for patches !)

(local drive (C:)/Games/BOBB/Patches)











(dont worry about that there are more folders on the image then in your local file, i created them myself)

From the moment your are in the main menu there is a button called ''SQUADS''

when you click on it, the game opens a next screen where you can see 10 soldiers with names all "Empty" on this screen you can create your own squad members. when you are finshed creating them you can save them by clicking on the button left cornor "SAVE SQUAD" after clicking on it, on the top left cornor the next step appears what you need to (give your squad a name and click on the save icon button).

After you saved your own created squad. they will be located in the list where also premade squads are listed.

STEP 1: open PAINT
STEP 2: make the page 512x512px
STEP 3: paste your own creation over the 512x512.
STEP 4: edit your thumbnail further and save your thumbnail (ALWAYS USE JPEG FORMAT !)

Before going straight to upload your squad, i always make a picture of them in the "Photos" option.

Here you can costumize your operators in all kind of diffrent postures or premade postures. A perfect option for on the workshop, so people can see how your created squad looks like

ALT-TAB the game and Make sure the correct files are in the correct folder before try upload the mod

After everything is done, the next step is to upload your mod to the steam workshop.

Once you have clicked on the "STEAM WORKSHOP" icon you are 1 step away of launching your mod.

Here you have to give your mod a name (this name wil be used for on the steam workshop)
After you clicked on ''upload new item'', the game will first check if there is not already a mod with the same name, if the game not tells you there is a issue with the name, click once again on the icon and your steam overlay will pop-up and uploads your mod.

Congrets ! your mod is launched succesfull towards the workshop.
But..... dont forget to edit your mod on the workshop due its automatic on private. Give your mod some info + media and let it go public.
