Which Thrustmaster wheel do I own ?
This guide is made for Thrustmaster dual-belt servo bases.
If you own one of the wheel bases below, the settings in this guide are for you.

Here are the main Thrustmaster dual-belt wheel bases and their approximate peak torque:
  • T300 RS : 3.9 NM
  • TX Servo Base : 3.9 NM
  • T500 RS : 4.4 NM
  • TS-PC Racer : 6.2 NM
  • TS-XW Racer : 6.2 NM
  • T-GT / T-GT II : 6.4 NM

Wheel settings in the Thrustmaster driver
Open the Thrustmaster Control Panel and go to the tab Gain Settings.
Here is what each slider does and the values I recommend as a starting point:

1 – Overall Strength of all forces: 60% (then adjust)
This slider controls how much of the wheel’s maximum torque (Nm) is used.

Example:
If your wheel can produce 6.2 Nm at 100%, then at 60% it will only use about 3.7 Nm.
Using 100% gives you the full power of the motor, but it can also cause FFB clipping (the signal hits the limit and you lose detail).

I recommend:
  • Start between 60% and 75% for most Thrustmaster dual-belt wheels.
  • If you never clip and the wheel feels too light → increase it a bit.
  • If the FFB feels too strong or clipped all the time → lower it a bit.
(Personally, on a ~6.2 Nm wheel like the TS-PC, I run 60%.)

2 – Constant: 100%

3 – Periodic: 100%

4 – Spring: 0%

5 – Damper: 0%
In-game FFB settings
Here are my recommended in-game Force Feedback

1 – Gain: 150
This is the main FFB strength inside the game.

2 – Minimum Force: 2

3 – Damper: 0

4 – Steering Lock: 540
This sets how much rotation the car uses in-game.
A value around 540° works very well for modern rally cars: quick steering, good control in hairpins and chicanes, and not too much arm movement.
You can adjust this if you prefer more or less rotation, but 540° is a good starting point for most stages and cars.
Thank you
Thanks for reading this guide!

I hope these settings help you dial in the Force Feedback on your Thrustmaster
If this guide helped you, please consider leaving a like or a comment, and feel free to share your own FFB tweaks or questions.

Have fun, and enjoy your stages out there! 🏁
