Blue Marble - The Darkest Hour Map Style

That's right - the long awaited relaunch of the "Blue Marble" graphics mod! In collaboration with AlgerianGeneral we have officially taken down the previous page - this is now the one, true Blue Marble, maintained by the Darkest Hour team.

Blue Marble lets you take the graphical settings from the Darkest Hour mod - and reuse them anywhere.

Check out our full Darkest Hour total overhaul mod!



Blue Marble includes the following from Darkest Hour:
- Map font ("Bebas Neue")
- Terrain textures
- Border textures
- Shader settings
- Snow/tree settings
- Water settings
- Distance settings

Blue Marble does NOT include:
- Physical map (terrain placement, states, provinces etc)
- Ocean colormap
- Country colors
- Weather data

- Standalone Map Font

Q: Is it Ironman-compatible?
A: No. Blue Marble makes changes beyond what is allowed for ironman compatibility. A future minimal version with ironman may be release in the future.

Q: Can I reuse these graphics?
A: Yes. Our assets are mostly open-source, with the only requirement being clear credit to the Darkest Hour Project and to the Blue Marble page.



We plan on making additional standalone graphical uploads, for example a stripped ironman version.
