Automated Metals Extractor
Automated Precious Metals Extractor

Both extractors are fully robotic and operate without any workers. They provide constant production but consume a large amount of power and generate Waste Rock and dust around them.

Available upgrades:
Fueled Extractor — +30% output (requires Fuel)
Amplify — +25% output ; +10 Power
Magnetic Extraction — +50% output

Hilariously, the Brazilian sponsor version of the automated rare metal extractor is also affected by this. But that's not a surprise given the abundance of larger issues that got through.

Bug: Automated rare metal extractors are not affected by Plasma Cutters tech.

@Del Its intended to be expensive and less efficient since it saves you from having to use colonists.

Personally, it's saved my bacon in playthroughs more than a few times.

Early game life savers.

Any plans to bring over the automated electronics and machine parts factories? Those saved my bacon more than a few times in the original game, and still felt balanced because of their small production and high power requirement.
