On the side note, I added mob icons on the description of the map icon (the [mapicon] part)… And discovered while testing that it changed the icon too ! It feels so good and immersive ! I 100% recommend it (do you think it could be integrated in your mod ?).
On a side effect, it also permanently add this icon on your map icon list. And it has a transparent effect.
Anyone wanting to add an icon on the map without adding it on the icon map collection has just to type [mob=] on the map description. You can test it with [mob=duck].
Cool maps to have:
- Fishian forest map (with all the bamboo)
- Caveling Shrine (Hint Map)
- Trap Dungeon map (Hint Map), the ones with the stairs
I'll only do maps tied to progression, side progression, or achievements though.
