These attributes create opportunities, from opportunities come goals.
Great Dribbling with no speed on a winger won't get you forward, and any pacy full-back is going to snatch your ball in a heart-beat, without a tackle.
Acceleration/Pace, Anticipation & Concentration will make sure your striker will find a pocket for a clean shot, before the defenders have a chance to react.
Finishing & Dribbling also have diminishing returns.
You can't do more than score a goal or get past a defender.
Furthermore... dribblers are notorious for getting injured.
If your striker's Jumping is higher than the defenders' Jumping, and the keeper's Aerial, there's not much they can do against crosses.
Work-Rate ensures that your players actually move, and use their speed.
Stamina will win you games, because your players will still run in the second half.
What good is speed, if you can't use it?
