But first you need GARY. Head to Paradise and track down the rift near the Bridge of the Reverent. Use the Rift Anomaly Modulator to stabilize that rift, secure the GARY gear, and equip it so its tendrils can actually trigger during combat. This is the step that makes or breaks the run, so don’t skip it.



Now find a pocket of low-pressure combat where enemies come in small groups. Open on each target just enough to get them close to death, then back off and let GARY’s tendrils do the finishing work. What counts is the tendril kill, not your gun or a stray dot tick. Keep a simple tally in your head or on a sticky note. Some players report the tendril effect can take a moment to kick in, so give it a second rather than rushing the next shot. Once the fifth enemy drops to a tendril, the achievement pops.

If a kill doesn’t seem to register, reposition so you’re close enough for the tendrils to connect, and avoid overkilling with your primary weapon. Stay patient, cycle a few fresh spawns if the area thins out, and you’ll be done in a few minutes. The requirement itself is simple: five enemies, tendrils only.
