Type 45 - Daring Class

The Type 45 is the result of the United Kingdom's endevour to replace the Type 42 class air defense destroyers.
After the failure of the NFR-90 project and leaving the Horizon class program with Italy and France the decision fell on a national design influenced by the Horizon class with high performance air surveillance sensors and the advanced Aster 15 and Aster 30 missiles.
