Obsidia Expansion - Living Arsenal

This standalone mod deepens RimWorld combat with a powerful new system of weapon traits.

At its core, the mod introduces Persona weapon traits(requires Royalty DLC) and Unique weapon traits(requires Odyssey DLC). Beyond these, the arsenal is enriched with a wide variety of effects that can transform any battle: weapons may strike with additional damage types, alter their own performance such as accuracy, cooldown, or warmup, grant passive stat boosts while equipped, or unlock distinctive combat effects that change how fights unfold.

Every trait is designed to add more variety, strategy, and storytelling potential to your colony’s struggles. Whether you seek deadlier precision, brutal force, or unpredictable twists on the battlefield, the system ensures that no two weapons feel the same.

Q: Is this mod save game compatible?
A: Yes, you can add it and remove it whenever you like. However, for safe removal, make sure that no pawns in your game are using weapons with traits from this mod, as this will help avoid potential errors.

Q: Does this mod require any other mods to work?
A: No, it works completely on its own! But keep in mind that Persona weapon traits require the Royalty DLC, while Unique weapon traits require the Odyssey DLC.

Q: Are all weapon traits only available with specific DLCs?
