Warlords of East Asia

In vanilla CK3, Administrative governments are highly stable. Vassals cannot create Dissolution factions, and Independence factions are restricted to high-ranking nobles (King-tier and above).

This mod, Warlords of East Asia, changes these rules for Administrative governments that use the East Asian 'Merit' system, allowing for greater internal instability.

• New Factions: Vassals under a 'Merit'-based Administrative government can now create Independence and Dissolution factions.
  
• Faction Creation Requirement: To create one of these new factions, a vassal must have a different culture or religion than their liege. (Note: This condition is only for creation. Any vassal can join an existing faction).
  
• Increased Faction Joining Likelihood: Vassals are more likely to join these factions if they meet any of the following conditions:
  
  • Monthly income is 0.5 or lower.
    
  • Treasury is below 0.
    
  • The vassal is part of a Powerful Family.
    
  • The vassal has a different culture or religion than their liege.
    
• Game Rule: Adds a new, optional Game Rule to enable or disable these changes at the start of your campaign.
