Stack as many tokens as you can until you find a fountain trading tokens for a lottery draws, use all the tokens, then finish the run however you want, continue or give up the run

this fountains spawn in the stages 3 to 5, and per run there is a 50:50 to not spawn (or at least it fells like a 50:50),

every time you get to choose the next reward the priority order is:

• tokens
  
• Treasure Chance(miniboss tokens+ the chest can drop tokens and loot)
  
• miniboss (give tokens)
  
• your pick
  
• store

All the equipment progression in this game is based in one thing, getting more weapons, either get legendary weapons or get from white to purple weapons for xp fodder, this is probably the fastest way to get both, it combines the new drops from the challenge rooms and the chance of a big pay-out saving all the tokens for to expend in the lottery.

You can expect around 3 legendaries for 2700 tokens, it used to be better but 0.6.3 patch removed tokens from the lottery poll, you can also get materials from the current stage, boss included and hats

You can start using this method once you can get to the stage 3 boss without using any tokens, it makes a difference to not be able to buy stuff.

Once you bet the stage 5 for the first time you unlock oath lvls, and with that you get a couple of options

if you want a drop from the first 2 stages:
play oath 4+, it's the only way to farm the first 2 stages faster, as the fountain doesn't spawn in this stages

if you want a drop from stages 3-5:
A) use the lottery method if oath 4+ is too hard for you
B) (need confirmation)use oath to skip the first 2 stages, you give up the tokens of the first 2 stages, but you save time by only playing stages with the fountain you are searching
C) play oath 4+

if you need weapons for xp fodder play oath 4+, you get better drops, a lot of purples (that are the best to sacrifice) and all the weapon drops are lvl 9 and up, so they give extra xp

to stack as much tokens pick the gates with the following order of priority:

• tokens(gets 6 roll in the lottery)
  
• Treasure Chance room (15 boss tokens + chance of getting tokens in the chest + loot in the chest)
  
• miniboss (+15 tokens)
  
• life (so you can use the other goddess offerings to get ratakarutas)
  
• chorus
  
• ratakarutas
  
• store

make sure to have splendid bonus at max lvl to get more tokens in the boss fights:

The equipment of your cobun is going to do a lot of the heavy lift in these runs, here is my current equipment:



9 lvl 50 weapons + hats
With this I can get to flipflop in 0 oath runs, without welcome mode, If i can kill it depends on my luck with the cards, but usually is a close call, you could turn on welcome mode to make it easier.

But as long as you can get to the stage 3 boss without expending tokens then you should be able to farm legendaries this way, you only have lower odds of finding the fountain by completing fewer stages and the lower the stage, the less time you get to stack tokens
