Welcome beavers reports that several unstable bombs are stuck within the ground we came to. There is no telling when they might go off and how they might effect the terrain they influence. Prepare for any potenital hazards and keep your eyes out for the cores. We have seen some signs of possible supplies we might be able to use.

We must find a way out of this and continue to thrive. Control this Ever Changing land and make it ours. Now start the dam work.

If you get can get to the first water aquifer you should also be able to get to the 88 dirt that should give you 22 natural levees. (1.0k science)

A little over by the major berry patch is 13 explosives. (600 science for 1 block dynamite)
Finally You should have semi-quick, easy access to 1.6K science. 200 is hidden in a hole by the Oaks nearby (requires 1 stair to get to). 200 is up by the singular tall tower of scrap close by (1 stair and some platforms). 1.2K is hidden in the bad water source up in the corner ( 2 stairs to get to) it requires dealing with bramble and bad water but 1.2K science should be worth it.

you also have 510 water easy access. 210 in starting area (should be no need for large amounts of 1 x 1 water storage.) 300 up in the corner by the bad water.

If you play as folktails you should also have a few antidotes over by the Oaks (requires stairs) and a few roasted chestnuts by the edge.

That's where you went wrong. You tried to rush to and try and to fight the ever changing lake. Instead use the newer mechanics to work around it. You have 2 water aquifers one by each of the 2 closest mines. one on either side of the river to dilute the bad water coming in from the lake. one Aquifer requires 10 days, 4 stairs, energy (right next to a geothermal vent), and some platforms to get to. (you can substitute platforms for small warehouses.) the other aquifer probably is not helping early as it needs a drill which does require some supplies.

You can also break the blockages by the first waterfall off the lake to reveal the water Seep which should acts as a water source by breaking the blockage. That should dilute the bad water coming in even further. The water aquifers and water seep should keep you capable of pretty good amount of green and steady stable growth.

Nah I never used any Aquifers, I stayed low tech / minimalist. Only ever had 1 plank factory. And was just building levees and dams to control the water flow. But I literally couldn't build quickly enough to keep up with all the changes. For starters, the big main area has 3 exits that need to be blocked to keep the water in for the drought. So that's a big task there, and about the time you do that, the first bomb is getting ready to go off which changes the clean water to badtide. So then you have to rush up there and block off the flow, which is a huge task because of all the stairs and platforms needed to climb, and then it's about a 7 wide gap, 2 blocks high to block that off. 14 x 12 logs. In my game I had that part 80% built when the bomb went off and all my water got replaced with badtide.

it shouldn't be all that difficult. not saying it an easy map. where were you having difficulties? because if it is with the changing tides not giving clean water early on you can go slightly above the closest mine and use the aquifer. That just needs energy (stairs to get to) and there is a clean water source. (not counting bad tide season).

This map is incredibly difficult, even on normal difficulty. Lmao
