Enchanted Forest

Beskrivelse
This mod mainly adjusts scale, atmosphere, and colors, turning your forests into a mythical, enchanted woodland with a few 'new' animals.

You can either start a new game on the Enchanted Forest map type or activate it on any existing map — even on your current saves.

New Map Type: Enchanted Forest
A lush three-layer map featuring a flowing river and vibrant wilderness. The winter season is milder than usual, while all other seasons remain unchanged and progress as normal.
The Enchanted Forest Map Type is based on the Flat Map template.

How to play with the new map type ‘Enchanted Forest’:
  1. Subscribe to the mod.
  2. Launch Going Medieval and activate this mod.
  3. Restart the game.
  4. Select the map type ‘Enchanted Forest’ on the world map.

For stronger fantasy vibes, you might also enjoy combining this mod with Dire Wolves, Orcs & Elves, Ghost Architecture, Break Physics, Golden Age, Statue Selector, New Food, Hall of Trophies, and many more.

Known Issues:
  1. New map types may conflict with other modded map types such as Going Jungle. Always enable or disable the specific map type mod and restart Going Medieval before starting a new game.
  2. Workaround for other map types: If you’d like to use this mod alongside map types not listed in this description, first generate a map with your desired type, then enable this mod, restart Going Medieval, and reload your save.

@ladyrixx: They were indeed a bit huge, so I’ve rescaled them in the latest update. Thanks for sharing this! Much appreciated.

Could we have an option to not have giant bears? That makes my tame bears be stupidly huge.
