A.B.A is a unique mode switch character who switches between a more defensive and limited playstyle in Normal Mode, which she starts the match as, and a more aggressive rushdown in Moroha Mode.

Normal Mode is overall very weak, due to poor movement, low range, and mediocre damage output. By landing a successful down b or using her down taunt, she can switch into Moroha Mode for a limited time, in which she becomes significantly scarier, with higher damage output, range, speed, and much more threatening moves. In exchange, she takes self-damage from nearly every move in her kit when in Moroha. Her down taunt however can only be used 3 times a stock, and if her timer is fully drained in Moroha Mode, she goes through Suka Motion, which is a long animation that leaves you vulnerable to a punish. Missing techs will take away about 30% of the timer, and teching moves will take away 10% of the meter, so try and keep up your offense as much as possible.

Exiting Moroha Mode through down b or down taunt will heal ABA for a fraction of the damage she deals to herself, which can help to mitigate some of the cost of entering.
