Leibermuster Buntfarbendruck 45

Are you a Leibermuster / Leibertarn, officially Buntfarbendruck 45 enjoyer? Then this mod is for you!
Tiny mod, that adds a small retexture in Leibermuster for the SPE Smock and the SPERM M44 Uniform.


With it's printing technique patented by Hellmut Leiber who worked at Kattundruckerei "Schlieper & Baum AG" at Wuppertal, Germany in 1942. Who is also the namesake of this pattern. Based on his idea Abteilung T developed the later produced pattern under Prof. Schick.
Production started on the 15.01.1945 and was issued for troop trial only as a Feldhose and Feldbluse on Drillich cloth. Most photos show the uniforms in May 1945.

Little known fact, the pattern was also supposed to provide infrared protection, by the addition of graphite and sulfur to the colors.

Unlike common belief, the Leibermuster is NOT a Waffen SS camo pattern, it was developed at a Waffen SS developement location but was supposed to replace all other camo pattern in use by the Wehrmacht and Waffen SS.
