Pardon the heading. The skins that you can buy with junk can be bought anywhere Optica is. Junk can be found on the ground, breaking FAC crates, or by winning races (can only be done once per race).

To get the Tasty Leaf you must eat at least 200 leaves (probably, just eat a bunch leaves ok?). Dead leaves are found in basically every area of the game. Trading in the Tasty Leaf to Optica will reward you the Caterpillar skin, which is based off of the caterpillar in the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Funfact: you are able to get multiple Tasty Leaves because of the requirement being able to be done multiple times!

Honeydew is gotten through a quest, rewarded by Theo (the red and orange ladybird beetle, aka a ladybug) after destroying all the FAC advert billboards. There are 5 billboards scattered throughout the first area, and you must break whatever is holding them up. If you haven't already, you should get the Magnet Drive by giving Tinker what she needs.
The first and second billboards are right behind Theo. For the first billboard, there's just a stick in the ground that you need to attack. For the second, you have to jump onto the middle purple mushroom against the billboard to break the stick that's stuck in the wall.
The third billboard is located a bit to the left of the fourth one, and it's where Holt (the jigsaw puzzle collector weevil) is ((BTW pls share with me jigsaw puzzle locations i'm only missing 1)). To take down this billboard you need to attack the ant fuel tanks.

The fourth billboard is located behind the crane that had the magnet, and above the sludge river. It has one plank that holds it up. This billboard also becomes a bridge, and will allow you to walk across the sludge from above.
The fifth billboard is located left of Optica, and you just need to break the one stick either by attacking it normally or by attacking the ant fuel tank next to it. Upon breaking it, it too becomes a bridge which allows you to easily walk to Optica.

After breaking all the billboards and returning to Theo, you are given the Honeydew, which must be traded with Optica to get the Clown skin.


The Helmet is buried underground. You WILL NEED the Magnet Drive to get this. It's located just about under the third billboard. Trading it with Optica will unlock the Ironsopode skin.

The Game Cartridge is buried underground. It's located near Optica and the FAC wooden gate. Trading it in unlocks the Roly Lo-Poly skin.

The Thistle is a quest collectible and rewarded by Gouda when you destroyed 34
FAC Loudspeakers. Gouda is located on the left root of the big tree in the middle, the same tree has a hole under it that leads to a little village where May is.Trading it in unlocks the Echinarmadillid skin
Depending on how much I wish to suffer, I may add to this guide where all the Loudspeakers are. Don't get your hopes up though.

The Croissant is found on some barrels to the right when you enter the ant kitchen, which is opposite to the entrance of the Skate Park.
Trading it in unlocks the Croissant skin.

The Fish Hook is found about just before the middle of the Mangroves, if not in the middle. It is buried underground. Trading it in unlocks the Nigiri skin.

The Yabby Tail is found near the end of the Mangroves on top of a mangrove tree root, use the fish sign post as a marker to where it is. Trading it in unlocks the Yabby skin.

The Kintsugi Vase is a quest collectible, rewarded by Virgil after giving her 100 pot shards. Virgil is found under a mangrove sapling to your left near the end of the Mangroves. Pots can be found almost everywhere across the map, and they give 1 pot shard each (at least i think, mb if i'm wrong). Trading it in will unlock the Kintsugisopod skin

The Bee Coin is found in the center of Bellport, underwater. It is buried underground. To dive underwater you must roll into ball, and to float back up just unroll. Trading it in unlocks the Bee skin.

The Teacup is found in the Council chambers. You have to get on top of the roof of the smaller building, walk along until you're on the Council building, and go around until you find the opening, then jump down into the opening. Trading it in unlocks the Porcelain skin.

The Crab Claw is found in the third cave beneath Bellport to the right when you enter. Trading it in unlocks the Crab skin.

The Meat Cube is located at the end of the whale guts near Big Boy, to the left. This one is really annoying to get to without the Glider, but I was able to get up by spamming roll attack into a wall (be careful to not shoot urself down, u gotta be touching the wall to go up). If you can't get up this way, you can always come back with the Glider by going through the Cosmic Web. Trading it in unlocks the Giant Deep Sea skin.

The Lychee Peel is located a level above where Buddy and Boyfriend are. Trading it in unlocks the Lychee skin.

The Meteorite is located to the left of the FAC town. It is buried underground in an impact crater. Trading it in unlocks the Galaxy skin.
