Thunder of Succession Wars is the indirect successor of "Sounds of Succession Wars" and is a sound overhaul for MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, designed for players who want a heavier, more immersive audio experience.

This mod was created in cooperation with Kh0rnz, the creator of the beloved Soundmod "Sounds of Succession Wars"

🚀 Jump jets, Mech footsteps and Mech Start ups are reworked for each weight class and for more realism

🚀 some Environment and vehicle sounds are replaced

🎵 Full Compatibility: Works with Music Mods, YAML, YAW, YAWC, and with all other common mods

🔉 Sound Sources:
I created sounds by myself and recorded and edited dozens of sounds from popular games such as War Thunder, Star Wars, Apex and various others so that they fit well into the gameplay.

Because of the Cooperation with Kh0rnz, there are many Sounds of "Sounds of Succession Wars" included in the mod.

Yeah its an issue but with the Base Game :D I didn't Changed anything to the Gyro rotating Sounds

Yeah youre right. It sounded a little boring. I reworked the Sound and it comes with the next Update

Great work on this mod! Really adds a lot to the atmosphere of the game. Just reporting a small bug. Noticed that when I switch between mechs during a mission the sound of the gyro rotating disappears and is only present for the mech I initially start in. Any chance of this getting fixed? Or is it a known conflict with another mod?

May I suggest a beefier sound to clan large lasers? The present sound has more of a fizzly taste to it. For instance in MW4 the Large laser sound was something you tell was huge and dangerous.

Just a suggestion.

I did not create these videos. These were provided to me by FreeGenc. But here is a small list of mods that improve the trails of the rockets:

Then it has to be another Mod which causes this. Because I Play with yaw and I hear the custom TAG Sounds. Maybe you could try to load my mod at the very last in the list. If you youre using a music Mod, then load the music Mod at last and mine before.

Yup, I have your mod set to overrite YAW. It won't play any sound whatsoever. If I have YAW disabled I can hear the beeping noise.

Unless something else in my mod list is influencing this, but load order isn't reporting any conflicts besides this and YAW.

Not a big deal either way as I prefer no noise to medium laser lol. Just thought i'd let you know if it helps any.

I have way to less experience in modding to add Options to Pick Sounds from. Unfortunately there is no uncoocked Pak of my mod, were you can edit any sounds. To Change Sounds, you need to Open the PGI wwise Project File in mw5 Editor and edit it with your Sounds.
