Introduction
I was taking down some notes for achievement hunting. Thought I'd might as well put it in a guide for anyone who's interested.

The game released less than 6 hours as of this writing. Everything is very much a work-in-progress. If there's any issues, just let me know.

Guide is done for now. Experience calculation is still unconfirmed, but that was never the main focus.

I'll be back next week on the 29th when Episodes 3 & 4 drop. Special thanks to the kind folks in the comments who helped out!

Alright, going through the Episodes 3 & 4 right now. With the multiple roster changes and paths to take, it's gonna take a while to map out all the possibilities.
Episode 1 Missions
Basic missions will have requirements for each of the 5 stats (Intellect, Combat, Vigor, Charisma, Mobility). If the shape outlined by the mission's requirements is completely covered by the outline of your team's stats, the mission will 100% succeed.

Some missions will show a raised hand (✋) when your team arrives, allowing you to choose options. Those options are either give auto-success if certain characters are present, or they test a single stat instead of all 5.

It is generally recommended to click on new missions as soon as you have the appropriate team ready. Another recommendation is to click on the ✅ after each mission to confirm the results as soon as possible.

For episode 1, the 6 heroes in the training segment do not have abilities, and do not gain experience from completing missions.

Episode 2 Missions
From Episode 2, if you select an auto-success option, the character that enabled it gets more exp. (Seems like they get one-third more exp. Further testing required.)

Some missions might appear only if you fail other missions. For example, failing the mission "Blaze in the Burbs" unlocks "Bigger Blaze in the Burbs".

Some missions will provide a second set of options if you fail. For example, on the mission "Fight at Crypto Night", if you choose "Dynamic Duo" but don't meet the requirement, another set of options will be offered: to either "Host a drinking contest." or "Fight the Fight-Men".

Recommendations are targeted towards getting the "Shift Was Lit" achievement (Completed a Z-Team Shift Without Missing or Failing a Call)

Pointing out I'd missed the "Apprehend Art Thieves" mission,
Coupe's auto-success option for "Locate Stolen Art",
The options for "Bigger Blaze in the Burbs" mission.

Credit to Watchman for pointing out I didn't save the "Apprehend Art Thieves" mission edit. My bad; I got a error while editing, and the one time the edit successfully saved, I missed the mission info.
Episode 3 Missions - Shift 1
Under construction

Special circumstances: Your team is under pressure to not get fired. This means:

1. Team members refuse to swap out once assigned for certain missions.

To clear members off missions: Exit back onto the map by clicking "Close". Then re-select the mission to clear the member selection. This will allow you to pick new heroes.

For example, you won't be able to send anybody solo for the first mission (Beach Clean Up). However, you can keep picking the first member, then exiting to map and choosing again, until the game randomly assigns you the second member you like.

2. Random members will force themselves onto missions.

For a couple of missions, certain members will force themselves onto the mission. This is bad, as they'll then try to sabotage each other enroute to the mission. Use the trick above to reset team selection for a mission.

Amaranth in the comments notes that certain members might not sabotage each other due to synergy. Shock4ndAwe in the comments corroborates that synergy pairs do not sabotage each other.

The original synergy pairs from the demo are:
  • Sonar + Malevola
  • Flambae + Prism
  • Invisigal + Golem
  • Punch Up + Coupe

Tested and confirmed, the above synergy pairs do not sabotage each other.

3. Try to sabotage others.
Sabotage events happen where your team sabotages each other and you get 3 choices (roll vs select stat) to resolve the issue.

Non-synergy members out on mission together can sabotage each other. Sometimes, your members at base will literally leave base to sabotage someone on their way back from a mission.

Sabotaged members do not contribute their stats towards mission completion, and gain no XP from mission success.

Failing a sabotage mission can result in injury.

Achievements - Overview
As of today, only 4 episodes have been released. That's why some of the achievements are listed as impossible.

If you see that people have already obtained those achievements, assume those are dev/ QA testers/ review copies/ people using achievement unlockers.

Tip for any achievement hunters: The game does NOT save during the dispatch section of Episode 1(until you take off the training glasses) or Episode 2 (until Invisigal asks for eyes on Granny's Donuts). If you return to the main menu at any point during the dispatch portion, when you resume, you'll start right after the slide show. Takes 3-4 minutes from there to completing the first couple missions. They added a scene select feature: Select the Episode > Choose whichever scene you've already unlocked to replay it again. Rolls back progress to chosen scene, so you lose any progress up until that scene for that save.

Update: Currently updating Episode 3+4 achievements.

Chose the Least Popular Donut
Credit to Silver for confirming that unlocking this achievement depends on average player choice. I chose the "Long ones with cream" (Long John donuts) to get this achievement.

Silver also notes that if your choice has now become the least popular, you can go into the Main Menu > Extras > Choice Stats to unlock the achievement.

I recommend quitting to main menu once this choice comes up and making a copy of your save to make getting this achievement easier. This way, you can start from the Granny mission instead of the beginning of the episode.

Click on "Main Menu" > "Play" > "Save Slot X" at the top left corner of the screen > Select the save > Copy to new slot.

Episode 2
Time's Running Out
Completed a Hacking Level With 5 Seconds Left
Recommendation: Last mission of episode 2. For the 2nd hacking sequence, the timer is divided into segments of roughly ~20s.

Clear the level, but before slamming the ball into the last node, count 15s after the timer reaches the last segment, then slam the ball down to unlock this achievement.
Episode 2
Snake Eyes
Failed a Call with >70% of Success
RNG. Credit to oh no its mp3 for inspiration on an easy way to get the "Snake Eyes" achievement:

They recommend sending Coupe for the first mission (Lost Balloon). I actually recommend Invisigal instead if you're going for this achievement. Both have a 72% success rate, but Invisigal's special ability makes it go ever so slightly faster.
Episode 2
Getting to Know Yous
Discovered Every Hero's Starting Power
See section "Abilities" for a list of starting abilities and how to discover them.

Note: Chillaxing in the comments mentions they unlocked the achievement by discovering the starting abilities of 8 heroes. The catch is that it wasn't for the 8 starting heroes; After the team experiences changes in Episode 4, they got the achievement by discovering the starting abilities of the 8 heroes in the team of Episode 4. It's possible that the achievement checks for whether the starting abilities on the current team, we're not sure at the moment.
Episode 2
Phoenixes Down
Healed the Same Hero Twice in a Shift
Use Malevola's ability to heal two different heroes. Here's how I got it in Episode 2:

Send Punch Up solo for "Fight at Crypto Night" > "...Dumbass-sounding names" > any option for his first injury. Send Punch Up & Malevola together on "Museum Robbery" for the first heal.

Send Punch Up solo for "Blaze in the Burbs" > "Use a Hose..." for his second injury. Send Punch Up & Malevola together on "Bigger Blaze in the Burbs" to unlock this achievement.

Click on the missions as soon as they pop up. Punch Up & Malevola should be rested up from "Museum Robbery" just as "Blaze in the Burbs" is almost disappearing.

crucifié method (easier):
Based off testing, this method is a couple seconds more forgiving. You still need to start missions as soon as possible. For the "Locate Stolen Art" mission, you only have a couple seconds between Invisigal resting up and the mission disappearing.

  • Send Invisigal solo on "Fight at Crypto Night" > "...Dumbass..." or "...Dynamic..." > any option for her first injury.
  • Send Invisigal + Malevola together on "Museum Robbery" for the first heal.
  • Send Punch Up solo on "Blaze in the Burbs" > any option to fail the mission and trigger "Bigger Blaze in the Burbs".
  • Send Sonar + Coupe together on "Apprehend Art Thieves" to unlock "Locate Stolen Art".
  • Send Invisigal solo on "Bigger Blaze in the Burbs" > any option for her second injury.
  • Send Invisigal + Malevola together on "Locate Stolen Art" for the second heal.

Credit to Clippy for unlocking this achievement in Episode 3, Shift 1:

  1. Send Golem and Flambae on the first mission ("Beach Clean Up").
  2. Get Golem and Flambae both injured by failing the sabotage and the mission.
  3. Send injured Flambae alone to "Assault on the Drug Base".
  4. Send injured Golem alone to "Learn About the SDN Scammer".

Tested and confirmed Injured Golem on "Learn About the SDN Scammer" and Flambae on "Assault on the Drug Base" both have 12% odds.

Credit to CriticalMissive & u/Owls_Are_Cool_AF on Reddit for an easier method in Episode 4 Shift 2:

  1. Start Episode 4, Shift 2.
  2. Put Golem into training ASAP and give him the Found Himself perk.
  3. Use a Second Wind item to take him out of resting.
  4. Reset his stats and increase Vigor to 3 and the rest to 2.
  5. Put him in the "Stop the Assassination mission" by himself and in a slot that doesn't give him a boost.
This strat gives Golem a 13% chance to succeed and only takes a few minutes to reset and try again

Tested and confirmed works.

On a call with >2 slots, certain slots may grant +2 to a stat and -1 to others when Golem is assigned.

Note: Credit to Ricko for pointing out that Golem can activate this ability twice:

If you drag him into a slot with +STAT, his "Diamond in the Rough" ability activates, giving him +2 to that stat and -1 to everything else.

If you lift his portrait, then drop him right back onto the same slot, his ability activates a second time. This means that in total, he gets +4 to that stat, and -2 to everything else.

Tested and confirmed as of game build version 1.0.15330.
During Crypto Night, select Golem for any slot with a stat boost symbol.
Getting to Know Yous

During Crypto Night, select any hero for the first slot (leftmost slot), and select Prism for the second slot (middle slot).

Mission Experience
Mission Experience Distribution

Credit to UnlimitedNC, who commented that everyone receives experience from a successful mission.

Credit to Fringehunter7719, who pointed out that Prism's clones counts for division of XP, but cannot receive it.

Test results:

Crypto-Night > Idol Makeover:
  • Prism solo gives 1,729 exp.
  • Prism + Punch Up + Punch Up (Clone) gives 576 and 433 exp respectively, or 1,009 exp total.
  • Prism + Punch Up gives 864 and 650 exp respectively, or 1,514 exp total.
  • Prism + Punch Up + Malevola gives 576, 433 and 433 exp respectively, or 1,442 exp total.

Crypto-Night > Dynamic Duo:
  • Sonar-Human + Malevola gives 650 and 650 exp respectively, or 1,300 exp total.
  • Prism + Malevola + Golem gives 433, 433 and 433 exp respectively, or 1,299 exp total.

Museum Robbery > Weave:
  • Invisigal solo gives 910 exp.
  • Malevola + Coupe gives 455, 455 exp respectively, or 910 exp total.

Further testing required. Note that Crypto-Night is a decision-based mission, while Museum Robbery is a stats-based mission.

For now, I'd tentatively recommend sending characters solo if on decision-based missions with an auto-success option, to maximise total experience. For stats-based missions, the total remains the same, it's up to you how you want to distribute the experience.

Stat-based
Decision-based
Lost Balloon
Fight at Crypto-Night
VAND-GO Opening
Museum Robbery
Retrieve Stolen Boat
Blaze in the Burbs
In the Zone
Bigger Blaze in the Burbs
Apprehend Art Thieves
Send Sonar As Security
Send Literally Anyone Else
Juvenile Pickpocket At Large
-
Locate Stolen Art

Mission Experience Formula

Based off testing, stat-based missions seem to give experience based off the following formula:

Experience = (Mission Value - Success Rate) / Mission Modifier

For example, the first mission (Lost Balloon) has a Mission Value of 308 and a modifier of 0.4:

Flambae has a 100% success rate: (308 - 100) / 0.4 = 520 experience
Coupe has a 72% success rate: (308 - 72) / 0.4 = 590 experience

Another example, the fifth mission (Retrieve Stolen Boat) has a Mission Value of 360 and a modifier of 0.4:

Invisigal has a 83% success rate: (360 - 83) / 0.4 = 692 experience
Sonar-Bat has a 72% success rate: (360 - 72) / 0.4 = 720 experience
Coupe has a 63% success rate: (360 - 63) / 0.4 = 742 experience

What does this mean?

The more unsuitable the team, the lower the success rate.
The lower the success rate, the larger the amount of experience gained IF SUCCESSFUL.
Failed missions give no experience.

I'm not sure if it's been pointed out here, but one thing that can be useful to know is that it appears any mission that displays an 80% or higher success chance actually has a 100% success chance.

You can pick up the first 20% worth of bonus XP for free using this knowledge.
HexStarDragon 10 小时以前
Ok, not sure about the other episodes or how they calculate the decision-based missions, but for Episode 2 stats-based missions it seems to just be 65 x sum of stats plus 2.5 per % chance less than 100%. The Decision-based XP also seems to be multiples of 65, but I'm not sure how they calculate it.
Also, "Retrieve Stolen Boat" seems to require 4 mobility now, not 3, as Invisigal only has a 83% chance of success.

can you make a section with best use for skill points for every lvl on a character
DakotaOne 13 小时以前
You right my bad, I got confused. It was mission "Mascot Match-Up". Used an injured Waterboy afterr failed "Stop the Assassination" mission. In the assassination mission Waterboy has 7% success chance but I wasn't able to succed. But Waterboy injured after that mission and sent to Mascot Match-Up has 13% chance. Technically speaking, by using this strategy you can try twice in the same save, dispatch to achieve Fool's Luck, so I see it as quite viable. Just like Tartarius said below me.
Tartarius 14 小时以前
You can easily get Phoenixes Downs and Fool's Luck in Day 4, Shift 2 with Waterboy. The first mission with Stop the Assassination by himself is a 7%. Should he fail, he'll get injured. An injured Waterboy then has a 13% chance of success in Mascot Match Up. For Phoenixes Downs, just send Waterboy to Stop the Assassins for the fail, heal him up with the Bandage you gain from performing well, and then send him on Mascot Match Up where he'll most likely fail again. For his second injury, just send him on a mission with Malevola.

It should have a section to know where to put the points during the shifts

Given how this guide is laid out. It seems like it's far more beneficial to keep Sonar and cut Coupe given how many times he's recommended in comparison. He's clearly the most useful out of the two.

Golem clones do not dilute XP, unlike Prism clones.

https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3598363429
That's two completions of "Mascot Match-Up", one with Spread Thin, the other with Found Himself, both with a solo Golem. I couldn't get the percentages closer than 97%/94% with the save I currently have, but the results are clear enough, ignoring the stray 8 bonus XP.
