The World of Trucks event is the one that awards the player with different items upon completion. The Spooky Horns and the Witch's Compass can be earned by completing the personal goal. The Black Cat hanging cabin item is awarded once the community reaches the set goal of 1,500,000 total deliveries of Halloween-themed cargo.


For this event to work as well as for you to take part in it, you must have an account on SCS' Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator platform "World of Trucks". If you do not have an account yet, you can create one here: https://www.worldoftrucks.com/en/

Once you created an account, make sure that account is connected to your in-game player profile. You do not have to create a new profile for this. You can link the account to an existing profile in the profile's settings.






Once you unlock the Personal or the Discovery goal items, they are not automatically added to your Steam inventory. You need to redeem them using the WoT event inbox.

In order to do this, head over to https://www.worldoftrucks.com/en/events (sign in if prompted). Now you should see different messages telling you that you have unlocked the specific item(s). Each message should come with a button to redeem the item to your Steam account, adding it to your inventory. Make sure to log into the right Steam account.

You get two messages for each item – one for ETS 2 and one for ATS.




You can check your progress at any time in the main menu.

In order to finish the personal goal of 15 total deliveries from and to Brackenreach, players must complete World of Trucks External Contracts.


In order to deliver cargo to Castle Brackenreach, you must navigate to the "External Contracts" section in the main menu where all World of Trucks contracts are listed. In order to be able to travel to the event map, the following cargo type must be selected:

• Halloween Treats ➜ «Any City» to Brackenreach (BR)

Choosing this contract will prompt you to head to the selected company to pick up a special Halloween event trailer. Once the trailer is attached, the minimap will ask you to mark the preferred portal to travel to Brackenreach. A portal can be selected by opening the World Map (M) and setting a personal waypoint to the nearest portal.

It does not matter which portal you choose as they all teleport to the same place.



The portals are usually close to the city outskirts where the cargo was picked up, most often near gas stations. They are marked by a 🌀 icon on the map.



Once you arrive at the location of the portals, keep an eye open for falling leaves and magical green sparkles. Drive right into those, turn off your engine, and press Enter to teleport to Brackenreach.



Once teleported, you will find yourself in a foggy new event map. This is where you will spawn in each time you travel to Brackenreach.



As you continue forward, you will enter a spooky forest, stopping at an intersection. Your navigation system will ask you to take left path. However, that path is blocked off by a fallen tree so you will have to take the right path. Going down the right path, the map will start to reveal hidden path ways (indicated by the dotted new road layout appearing as you drive on. This is a feature normally used for easter egg roads in the normal game but is heavily used in the Halloween event, too.



Don't worry — there's a map of the unlocked labyrinth path included.



Leaving the spooky forest, you will arrive at the entrance to a cave that will lead you on the right path to Castle Brackenreach.



Make sure to drive slowly and carefully inside the cave as some of the bridges and edges of the rocks can easily damage your load or flip you. As this is a World of Trucks contract, recalling to a service station will cancel the contract, forcing you to start all over again.



As you leave the cave and continue forward, you will enter the castle grounds and the village around it. You're on the right path if you come across a bridge with two horse statues.



Continue forward until you pass through the castle's village and finally reach the castle itself. You know you made it when you see the delivery point and a scary pumpkin face smiling at you from the big tree in the center of the castle's yard.




Working toward the personal goal by delivering cargo from the castle to any city can be done by starting a new External Contract on the castle grounds, travelling all the way back through the forest, teleporting using the portal where you originally spawned in, and delivering it in the real world.

Don't worry. The portal will teleport you close to the delivery point in the real world so that you don't need to spend too long with the delivery back and forth.

In order to get the Spooky Horns, the player must find the Witch's House. The Witch's House is a secret easter egg location on the Brackenreach event map. It can be found by following a secret/hidden pathway near the castle grounds.



Remember that bridge with the two horses we talked about in the "Personal Goal" section? If not, please take a brief moment to read up on it. It's the bridge you come across after leaving the cave before you enter the castle's village.

Leaving the castle grounds and heading back to the spooky forest, right after you go across the bridge with the two horses, you can find a secret path that branches off to the right (travel direction/facing toward the forest).

Follow the path and you will come across some magical glowing mushrooms. That means you're on the right path. Move further down the path.



Once your GPS is aligned with the viewpoint icon, you should see a right turn, leaving the path. Take this right turn and you'll enter the Witch's House and its compound.

Once you enter the area, a big banner will show up to tell you that you completed the "Discovery" event challenge and have been awarded with the Spooky Horns. You can now claim them in your World of Trucks event inbox.

For this goal, the community needs to deliver a total of 1.5M Halloween deliveries using the External WoT contracts.

In addition to SCS' event with the special event map and the use of External Contracts to get different in-game items, the community-made multiplayer mod TruckersMP (TMP) also released a Halloween-themed event.

This event is a lot simpler than the SCS one and only requires you to deliver TMP Halloween cargo from any city to another one. You can freely choose the cities you want to come from and deliver to.


You obviously need a TMP account to get started. In case you do not have one, head over to https://truckersmp.com/ and register.

You can check the progress at any time on your profile. Please note that it might take a few minutes for the delivery to sync with your profile. The overall stats can be checked here: https://truckersmp.com/events/delivery



In order to get the TMP profile achievement, you need to complete five (5) deliveries.



This will award you with the profile achievement for 2025.



You can still do more deliveries even after you completed all five needed ones. The TMP Team have set a community goal that you can help reach with each delivery you complete on top of your five needed ones.





The easiest way to deliver special TMP Halloween cargo is by generating a job using the Truck Delivery Dispatcher in the TAB menu. Just pick your current location and a city/company you want to go to, select the special cargo type (I choose Spider Candle because I find them really cute), and deliver the spooky Halloween spirit!
