Description

This mod aims to rework the functionality of every vanilla weapon.
Tack this onto your modded playthrough to help freshen up the experience, and make vanilla weapons new and interesting again!
This mod also adds a couple new weapons to fill gaps in progression.
This is a beta version. Not every feature is finished yet.

Current features:
-51 weapons reworked
-1 weapon added from old gen console, reworked as well
-2 new ammos (1 arrow and 1 bullet)

Planned features:
-Most weapons reworked (there are a couple weapons that were changed in 1.4.4 that are not planned to be reworked)
-All old gen console weapons added and reworked
-Many new weapons (27 are planned so far)
-5 new darts, to keep your dart gun viable until moonlord for you dart gun fans
-A mod config system to let you manually enable or disable individual reworks for your perfect playthrough, in case you hate my changes for your favorite weapon

I'm a solo dev, so updates will likely take a while. Be patient!

hi! fun fact: while it isnt listed on the wiki, there's currently an unobtainable item called "Genesis" which is effectively a zenith bow. It'll be fully implemented later. if you cheat it in, you can play with what parts have been implemented so far! (its only half finished, since its rather complex)

been doing a mage playthrough with this mod and i'm having a good time :3 when i initially made the amber staff, i found that the particles of the projectile made it feel wider than it actually is. i do think they look way cooler than it just being a ball though :3

So what I had done was copy the code present in the weapons list in the default wiki, but I actually didn't add any links manually, I just removed the # from the weapon names, and it did the rest automatically. In order to make it your pages, you may have to do like "Platinum Broadsword (overhauled)" for your page names and itemlist entries.

Took you up on that offer, your wiki is good to go now, and besides a few things I couldn't figure out how to fix (tungsten sword, quad-barreled shotgun, party bullets??? and for some reason the icons sometimes overlap the text???) its readable. I'll be following this project, I'm interested in shaking up the game since I don't use most of the weapons.

@ContaRandom the wiki is currently under construction, but it does list every reworked weapon, even though not every weapon page is available. I've been inconsistently having an issue with the item image placeholders that makes the wiki unusable (that i assume is the same issue you're having), but i'm not sure what circumstances cause it or how to fix it. If you think you can fix it, feel free to take a crack at it, the wiki is free for the public to edit. If you just cant get it to work at all, I can copy paste the weapon list out of the wiki's html for you.

i see no list of changed weapons and the wiki is unusable, how can i know all the 51 weapons reworked ?
