- Go to Microsoft’s Windows 11 download page
- Choose “Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) for x64 devices”.
- Don’t use “Create installation media” we only need the ISO as a file source.
- Save the ISO somewhere easy to access, like your Desktop.


- Just double-click the ISO. Windows will mount it as a virtual drive (for example D:).


- Press windows button > type cmd > right-click Command Prompt > choose Run as Administrator.


- In the Command Prompt, type: dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:D:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess

!! Replace D: with the letter of your ISO drive if it’s different !!


Press Enter and wait. You’ll see progress percentages as Windows installs .NET 3.5 from the ISO. This usually only takes a few minutes


- Once it’s done, you’ll see: The operation completed successfully.

Restart your PC and .NET 3.5 is ready. Older games and programs should now run without issues. You can delete the .iso file if you want

1. Copy this if you did not change the installation folder (if you installed Viking anywhere else, then find it and start from "external"

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Viking Battle for Asgard\external\DirectX\Redist

2. Press windows key, paste it & open.
3. Search for DXSETUP.exe and run it.

After this process, you are able to run this old ahh game
