It all started 10,000 years ago, when stardust fell upon the world, seeping into its core. This stardust, known as Dragofuel was one of the most powerful substances in the world, as it was pure determination. This 'determination' is what willed the metal out of the earth and the thunder out of the sky, creating the first Forgeborn. This strange race of Forgeborn quite quickly evolved into different species-- the Mechadrax. This model ("models" are the different species of Forgeborn) is what split off into 4 other type of Forgeborn. Electrowrym, Wavewings, Steelmaw, and the Leafscale.

Let us move on to the next chapter now, shall we?

Five different models inhabit the continent of Arcwire-- Mechadrax, Electrowrym, Steelmaw, Wavewings, and Leafescale. In this next section I'll explain what they are capable of and some important background information about each of them.

MECHADRAX: Mechadrax are the first Forgeborn and the other species evolved from them or enhanced themselves over a long period of time into new and different models. These dragons have sharp claws, blunt horns, hundreds of small but pointy teeth, flame breath (Mechadrax flame breath is capable of melting solid steel), and are considered the most intellectual model.

ELECTROWRYM: Electrowryms are interesting dragons who posses slight power over electricity/lightning. Electrowryms are very, very fast fliers, runners, basically they're fast at everything making them quite the foe in combat. They also have control over circuits and the flow of electricity, making them skilled engineers-- this power can also be used to stun enemies. This model dates back only 1,400 years ago, much younger than any other species besides Leafscale.

STEELMAW: Steelmaw are dragons forged from the toughest steel in the mountains. They're huge and can grow up to nearly four times an adult Mechadrax, despite their size, Steelmaw are mostly peaceful creatures, dubbed the storytellers and bards of the world. Due to their immense size Steelmaw usually aid other models in combat whilst never getting directly involved. These dragons are the second oldest species.

WAVEWINGS: Wavewings are solitary creatures, living in small families in the lakes, rivers, streams, and the ocean. Though they spend most of their time underwater and disconnected from the rest of the world, these dragons have been known to quickly join arms in conflict. Wavewings are considered dangerous almost everywhere on the continent due to their hostile nature and eagerness for tactical warfare. These dragons are the third oldest species

LEAFSCALE: Leafscale are the true pacifists of the continent, only fighting when their lives are in true danger. These dragons have masterful control over plantlife and are rumored to have slight control over organic life forms. Not much is known about this model as they keep to themselves unless provoked. Leafscale are either the fourth or fifth oldest species.

Now let us move on to the geography of the continent...

The continent of Arcwire is the shape of a crescent moon with a small, egg-shaped island in the middle (the points of the crescent are facing the right). In northern Arcwire towering mountains that raise into the sky can be found, to the south of the crescent are vast expanses of sandy dunes, where the stars glow like suns every night. Near the middle of Arcwire there are plains and ancient forests. The island in the middle of Arcwire known as Emberfall is home to volcanic beaches with massive stones rising from the water-- this place is said to be cursed by an ancient being.

In this chapter I will be telling the story of Arcwire's invasion.
The Invasion of Arcwire.

The following is a short, iconic, and traditional telling told by Boulder of the Steelmaw.

"5,000 years ago three species of Forgeborn roamed the land Mechadrax, Wavewings, and Steelmaw. Back then, every model was ruled by a separate king or queen and the war between the Wavewings and Mechadrax was finally starting to slow down after 50 long years. Before we could react a great calamity feel upon the entire continent of Arcwire. Thousands of battleships blotted out the sun, casting the world into shadow. Their armies of trained automatons took the world by storm. The kings and queens fell and anarchists rose into power with hollow promises of a better future. Eventually we formed a plan, join arms and stop the chaos as one. It was the only way. The Tri-Alliance was formed, it work better than we could have possible imagined. The last of the Wavewings, Mechadrax, and Steelmaw fought for everything they had left, destroying anything in their wake. The invasion took 20 more years to win... But no one has ever tried to invade Arcwire since." -Boulder of the Steelmaw
